Most Valuable Shaq Cards

Nobody epitomizes the larger-than-life trope better than Shaquille O’Neal.

Destined to be a star before he was drafted as the first pick by the Orlando Magic, Shaq arrived as a 7-foot-1 phenom out of LSU and played for six teams in his 19-year career.

12 Most Valuable Shaq Cards

A mix of rookie cards, autos, and rare inserts manage to make the list of the 12 most valuable Shaq cards to keep an eye out for. As always, the highest values are tied to pristine grades from the likes of PSA or BGS

It eliminates the risk of buying fakes or inferior copies and gives a clear indication of what the card is likely to sell for in the future. We’ve listed the cards in order, starting with a great option from the late 1990s.

12. 1997 Shaquille O’Neal Metal Universe Platinum Portraits #4

shaq cards worth a lot of money

The 1997-98 Skybox Metal Universe Basketball set is best known for the rare Precious Metal Gems cards, which do make an appearance below. However, the first spot on this list is reserved for the SP Platinum Portrait insert, featuring a great image of Shaq and a unique design.

There’s a silver background, with a series of holes used to form a profile image on the right side. A full-bleed card, the lack of a hard border, and the numerous holes make it difficult to find in mint condition.

11. 2015 Shaquille O’Neal Panini Excalibur Kaboom! #24

The Kaboom! insert is always popular, no matter the player or the sport. Shaq’s best card is found in the 2015-16 Panini Excalibur Basketball release, which dropped at a rate of one insert per box. It features a silver chrome background, with a stylized image of the big man as he leaps up to dunk in a classic Lakers jersey.

Leaning into the comic motif, his name and team are included in a speech bubble at the bottom, and there’s a large ‘Kaboom’ logo in the background. It’s the most recent release to make the list, and there’s a similar Shaq Kaboom! The card came out in 2018. The nameplate is found on the left with the 2018 version.

10. 2014 Shaquille O’Neal Panini Flawless Greats Dual Mem Autos #13

10. 2014 Shaquille O'Neal Panini Flawless Greats Dual Mem Autos #13

With a base version numbered just 25 copies, Shaq’s Dual Memorabilia Autographs card is another rarity. It contains everything you could possibly ask for from a collectible card, with two large patches set aside with an image of the player leaping towards the sky in his Magic jersey.

At the bottom, you’ll find a large on-card auto, signed in blue ink against a white backdrop. It’s a typical understated Flawless design, while there are also four further parallels numbered 15 or less.

9. 1998 Shaquille O’Neal Upper Deck Game Jersey #GJ4

Buy on eBay

shaq o'neal most valuable basketball cards of all-time

Originally inserted in both hobby and retail packs at a rate of one in 2,500, the 1998 Upper Deck Game Jersey is a great piece of vintage Shaq memorabilia that is rarer than you might have expected.

Just three have managed to achieve an elusive PSA 10 grade, which makes sense given the perforated left-hand side which also contains a game-worn patch from the 1997-98 season.

The lack of an auto might be off-putting for some serious collectors, but there’s no denying that gem mint copies are rarer than almost any other Shaq card on the market.

There are various Shaq patches on the market, but few can match up to the ‘98 UD card that focuses on his time with the Lakers.

8. 1997 Shaquille O’Neal Flair Showcase Row 0 /250 #7

Buy on eBay

most valuable shaq o'neal cards

The 1997 Flair Showcase subset was part of a hobby-exclusive offering with various rare parallels to search for. There are three rows containing cards for each player, the most important of which is Row 0, which has the rarest versions found in the set.

It’s also known as “Showcase.”

The card features two images of the player; one a profile, the other a signature shot of him dunking in his Lakers jersey. Numbered to just 250 copies, that’s an extremely low print run for a late 1990s release. As with many of the others on this list, PSA 10 copies are few and far between.

7. 1992 Shaquille O’Neal Upper Deck RC #1

Buy on eBay

most worth shaq basketball cards

In his ‘92 Upper Deck rookie card, they attempted to capture a Shaq dunk from beginning to end. They’ve done so by capturing three separate images of the player in the process, lining them up together in a distinctive style.

This does make the card look fairly cluttered, and it’s a design choice most manufacturers decided against in the future. Nevertheless, the all-black backdrop does make the card pop, especially when checking out copies that have achieved a high grade.

As with many Shaq rookie cards, the drop-off from PSA 10 to PSA 9 is significant, dropping from four figures to a modest sum comparatively.

6. 1997 Shaquille O’Neal Ultra Stars Gold #4

Buy on eBay

1997 Ultra Stars Gold Shaq Most Expensive Card

A rare insert in the 1997-98 Fleer set, 10% of the Ultra Stars print run was wrapped in gold foil as opposed to the more common silver version. The Shaq card from the set features a simple image of the player as he looks up towards the basket, backed by gold foil with an ‘Ultra Stars’ logo at the top.

Full-bleed edges and wrapped chrome make it one of the more expensive options overall, especially as it’s susceptible to a range of issues relating to the condition. Regardless, it’s still deserving of a spot on the list, and it’s rare to see a higher grade available at auction.

5. 1992 Shaquille O’Neal Fleer Ultra RC #328

Buy on eBay

super expensive Shaquille O’Neal NBA cards

Another full-bleed card featuring Shaq as he contests the ball, the 1992-93 Fleer Ultra RC was packaged with All-Rookies and Rejectors inserts that also features the Orlando Magic rookie. The 1992-93 Fleer Ultra Rejectors Shaq RC (#4) is a great card, and can be seen as a precursor to options such as the Kaboom! release discussed above.

It’s fairly basic, but the image of the rookie has been surrounded by a comic-style flash to make the basketball stand out. Ahead of its time, Fleer even chose a new nickname for each player on the back. Shaq’s is “KaBoom”, while you’ll also find a profile shot of the giant on the reverse.

4. 1992 Shaquille O’Neal Topps Gold RC #362

Buy on eBay

Most Valuable Shaquille O'Neal Cards

The 1992 Topps Gold is by far our favorite Shaq rookie card in terms of aesthetic appeal. It features O’Neal in a fierce battle underneath the basket calling for the rock, manhandling Timberwolves forward Bob McCann in the process.

As we’re looking at the most valuable options, we’d bypass the base card and stick with the Gold parallel. However, there are 502 gem mint copies at the current time of writing according to the PSA registry, so even perfect versions are fairly abundant compared to some of the other options. That hasn’t stopped the ‘92 Topps Gold from being one of the more valuable Shaq RCs overall.

3. 1998 Shaquille O’Neal Fleer Playmakers Theatre /100 #12

shaq cards worth the most

One of the earliest numbered inserts to feature Shaq, this card is found in the 1998-99 Fleer Playmakers Theatre subset. Surrounded by gold chrome and intricate detailing, Shaq is pictured as he leaps up to dunk, with his yellow Lakers jersey contrasting well with the background.

There’s a Fleer Traditions logo in the top right corner, while the serial number is found in the middle on the reverse. With only 100 copies produced it’s rare enough to be wanted by any serious Shaq collector.

2. 1992 Shaquille O’Neal Stadium Club Beam Team RC #21

Buy on eBay

Most Expensive Shaq Cards

A bit of a slow starter in terms of values, the 1992 Beam Team insert almost nabbed the top spot on our list. The 1992 Topps Stadium Club card shows Shaq taking on gravity and rising above the rim for a rebound.

It’s named after the NBA halftime light show, and that explains the interesting multicolored background, set against a black border. The first-ever release of the insert, today the Beam Team collection is instantly recognizable and packed full of future Hall of Famers like Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone.

Black edges will show any and all flaws, so there aren’t many PSA 10 versions in the present. You’ll find that there are two different versions, ‘Members Only’, and normal Beam Team inserts.

The Members Only version was limited to just 10,000 copies, which is minuscule for the era. Topps applied only a very faint watermark stamp to the early Beam Team cards, so it’s easy to miss. As of now, only 55 copies have earned gem mint status.

1. 1997 Shaquille O’Neal Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems /100 #50

Buy on eBay

Most Valuable Shaq Basketball Cards

We promised we’d be back for the 1997 PMG set, which takes the top spot thanks to a low print run and a legendary design. With just 100 copies overall, the 1997-98 Metal Universe PMG Shaq card has to be seen as the best investment piece overall.

Put it this way. You’re unlikely to find a copy of this card in the average collection, while the same can’t be said for the popular Beam Team insert.

The PMG card features an image of Shaq as he dunks in customary fashion, backed by a crisp red foil that flakes away instantly if disturbed.

Most Valuable Shaq Basketball Card

Most Valuable Shaq Basketball Card

Shaq’s basketball card values are slightly lower than you might have expected, especially because he is one of the best players the league has ever seen and the dominating force of his era.

The most valuable Shaquille O’Neal basketball card comes down to the 1997 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Shaquille O’Neal basketball card /100 #5 and the 1992 Stadium Club Beam Team Shaquille O’Neal basketball card #21.

The Shaq Beam Team has to be seen as the best investment pick if you’re looking for a card that will be easier to track down, and more likely to snag at a reasonable price.

The PMG is likely to have the largest potential for profit, as part of a popular set released before the turn of the century with a tiny print run.

Having said that we wouldn’t rule out the 1997 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems /100 #50 Shaq card as a top ROI contender.

The 10 Best Ty Cobb Baseball Cards To Buy Now

best ty cobb baseball cards

If you’re interested in serious sports card investing, there are three words that you know mean money: Tyrus Raymond Cobb.

From his impossible 12 batting championships to setting 90 different records while he played to be the top vote-getter in the very first Baseball Hall of Fame class, Ty Cobb’s cards are as safe an investment as you can find.

But with so many options, it can be hard to know where to focus your attention.

To make things easier on you, we’ve narrowed it down to the top 3 Ty Cobb cards that make great long term investments.

Though many savvy investors know there are some combo cards featuring Cobb and other stars, we’re only going to look at Ty Cobb solo cards for this list. Let’s dive in.

#3. 1914 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb – $125,000, Estimated Near Mint Value

ty cobb Cracker Jack

Nostalgia sells and this card is the essence of nostalgia.

Combining America’s iconic game with the iconic snack of card collection, this 1914 Cracker Jack card is everything you look for in an investment.

First, it has extensive emotional appeal. Its connection to both the history of the game and the history of card collecting make it irresistible on two levels.

Second, like all the best investments, it’s rare, especially if you have one in decent condition. And finally, though some cards are valuable because of their rarity or historical significance, this card is also valuable for its beautiful art that makes it a powerful and impressive display piece, as well as an investment.

Though people often mix up the 1914 and 1915 versions of this card, you’ll know you have the ’14 if the back text is right-side up because the ’15 has an inverted back.

#2. 1911 T205 Gold Border Ty Cobb – $135,000 Estimated Near Mint Value

Ty Cobb Baseball Card ebay

This beautiful card features legendary art.

The flashy red baseball diamond and lovingly integrated equipment adorn Ty Cobb’s placid face in a perfect blend of baseball enthusiasm and visually pleasing art.

All of these joy-inducing visuals are wrapped in the real star of the show: the famous gold border.

This sharp and unique feature makes this card stand out ahead of almost any other card on the market as an ultra-rare investment and display piece that will fill others with envy.

The gold border isn’t just visually stunning; it’s also the key to this card’s variable worth.

The better the condition of the border, the better your investment will be.

#1. Ty Cobb 1909-11 T206 Green Portrait – $135,000 Estimated Near Mint Value

ty cobb baseball card for sale

Though the famous T206 series has two different Ty Cobb cards, the green background’s higher rarity makes it the clear number one pick.

Though the art here isn’t as flashy as many other cards on the market, it doesn’t need to be. This card lets its impressive pedigree and near-mythic icon status do all the talking.

The statement is as simple as it is powerful: this is the pinnacle of card investment.

Not only does this card’s value derive from its presence in one of the most important collections of sports cards ever released, but its rarity and simple elegance are what baseball is all about.

The more centered the image is, the more valuable the card.

So, if you’re interested in sports card investment and are ready to jump into the top options available, these three cards are your best bets for Ty Cobb cards.

10 Best Pokemon Booster Boxes to Buy and Pull Rates

Best Pokémon Booster Boxes to Buy and Pull Rates

Pokémon cards were very popular in the late 1990s, during this time many kids were taking an interest in this new craze. The Pokémon market would become widely popular worldwide for a number of years from 1999-2002.

During 2002, you began to see collectors/buyers lose interest and only a select few people continued to invest in Pokémon. The release of the Pokémon go app in 2016 would spark new interest in Pokémon cards again but it was not until 2020 when Pokémon cards seem to hit an all-time high in value.

Khris Middleton Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Khris Middleton Prizm Rookie Card

Khris Middleton is a basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks. He is the second-best player on the team behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the two of them have formed one of the best dynamic duos in the NBA.

In his career, Middleton has made three NBA All-Star games, and he won an NBA Championship in 2021. His efficiency as a three-point shooter has complimented Giannis well and led to his success.

However, Khris Middleton was not always expected to be a star in the NBA. Instead, he came from rather humble beginnings as a second-round pick. It’s true, this all-star and champion was the 39th overall pick in the 2012 draft.

Related Players RC: Klay Thompson Rookie Cards | Ja Morant Rookie Cards

Not only that, but he wasn’t picked by Milwaukee, nor did he play his rookie season with them. Most people think of Middleton as a career Buck, but he was drafted by Detroit and spent his rookie season there.

As a rookie, Middleton did not play much, appearing in only 27 games. In those games, he averaged just 6.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. He spent most of the year in the G League.

However, he was traded to the Bucks that off-season in a package for Brandon Jennings, and the rest is history. Middleton developed into an all-star caliber player, and he should be successful for years to come.

Since he is not a massive name in the NBA, his cards are still reasonably priced, and as a result, investors should consider purchasing them.

Best Khris Middleton Rookie Cards

Middleton was not a star in his rookie year, and as a result, he was not included in as many collections. However, there are still several Khris Middleton rookie cards available for purchase.

Related Players RC: Tyler Herro Rookie Cards | Bill Russell Rookie Cards

Here we will be looking at three cards that we think are worthy of adding to your collection.

2012 Panini Prizm Khris Middleton RC #285

2022 Khris Middleton Prizm Rookie Card

The Prizm collection is one that collectors look forward to every year. When the set is released it features all of the best players in the NBA, including rookies. If you know what you are doing, you can find some gems.

People that invested in Khris Middleton’s rookie card back in 2012 would have made a pretty penny by now as he was not expected to grow into the player he is today.

The card is simple, featuring Middleton in his white Pistons uniform with the ball. However, simplicity is sometimes best, which is why this card is considered by most to be the top Khris Middleton rookie card.

Khris Middleton National Treasures 2012 RC /99 #189

2022 Khris Middleton National Treasures Rookie Card

National Treasures is another popular distributor that puts out high-end trading cards. This Khris Middleton rookie card is amongst the most valuable options for several reasons. It has a slick design with a clear picture.

However, the thing that makes the card stand out is that it comes with an authenticated autograph.

You can turn over the card and read a short blurb about Middleton’s career at Texas A&M and what scouts thought of him. Additionally, you can see his stats from his rookie season.

2012 Panini Contenders Khris Middleton RC /10 #237

2022 Khris Middleton Contenders Rookie Card

The final card we want to look at today is from the Panini Contenders collection. This card had a short run, and as a result, only 10 copies were printed. Its short run has led to a significant escalation in its pricing.

The card itself features Middleton taking a jump shot in his blue Pistons jersey. His name is written vertically on the left side of the card, and below that, you can see which of the 10 cards it is.

Finally, the bottom of the card features Khris Middleton’s autograph. The autograph has been authenticated.

Khris Middleton Rookie Card Value

The cards that have a limited number of copies like the National Treasures and Contenders cards listed above can reach four figures in price. However, the other cards are still very reasonably priced.

Khris Middleton is not a household name despite his ability, and as a result, cards like his Prizm card can be had for a few hundred dollars. Cards from less popular collections can be purchased for well under $100.

If you have a Khris Middleton rookie card and you want to know its value, leave a comment below with two pictures of it. We will get back to you as soon as possible!

Investment Outlook

Middleton’s cards are hidden gems that just waiting to explode in value. While they will never reach the heights of the cards of NBA legends, there is hidden value here.

Middleton is a great player and will play with Giannis Antetokounmpo for many more years. The two of them will have several chances to add more NBA Championships to their resume.

If the Bucks win a few more championships, Middleton could start to be looked at like Klay Thompson behind Steph Curry. As a result, we think investing in his rookie cards is a great idea.

1987 Topps Baseball Cards – Top 10 Cards, Errors, Value

1987 Topps Baseball sets are fondly remembered by many collectors thanks to the iconic woodgrain borders and a strong selection of players to look out for.

topps 1987 topps tiffany cards

The majority may be almost worthless today, but there’s a handful of hits that are especially valuable compared to the average late ‘80s release.

10 Greatest 1987 Topps Baseball Cards

Here’s a rundown with ten of the best 1987 Topps Baseball cards from an investment perspective.

10. 1987 Topps Tiffany Rickey Henderson #500

most valuable 1987 topps baseball cards

Rickey Henderson takes the 10th spot on this list.

With two World Series wins and an endless stream of records and achievements which are almost unmatched, his longevity is legendary.

Issued separately as a premium factory set, the 1987 Topps Baseball Tiffany release is often favored compared to base versions. (They can be seen as parallels of the normal card, released on the better stock with a glossy finish.)

We’d stick with Henderson’s 1987 Topps Tiffany, which features an action shot of the player mid-swing.

9. 1987 Topps Tiffany Don Mattingly #500

1987 TOPPS TIFFANY 500 Don Mattingly

Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly is the only Yankee to have his number retired without having won a World Series with the team.

He was on the Hall of Fame ballot from 2001 to 2015, although he never received more than 145 votes (28.2%).

Gem mint copies from the Tiffany subset still garner a reasonable amount of attention, showing the legend in a batting pose, with the familiar wood-effect border wrapped around the sides.

8. 1987 Topps Baseball Card Tiffany Barry Larkin RC #648

1987 Topps Baseball Tiffany Barry Larkin

Another Tiffany card to look out for is Barry Larkin’s RC.

He won it all over a storied career, picking up a World Series win in 1990, along with nine Silver Slugger awards, three Gold Glove awards, and the 1995 NL MVP Award.

Depicted in an action shot, it’s a more casual image compared to the cards discussed above.

As always, there’s a large drop-off when looking at PSA 9 copies and below.

7. 1987 Topps Baseball Card Tiffany Jose Canseco RC #620

1987 Jose Canseco Tiffany Topps Baseball Card

Jose Canseco played 17 years in the MLB and amassed a mind-boggling 462 home runs, although his stats are often overshadowed by his admission of steroid use at the time.

Related: Best Jose Canseco Rookie Cards

It’s no real surprise that he ended with 1.1% of the ballots in 2007, ending his chances of entering the Hall of Fame via traditional means.

His Tiffany card from the ‘87 set features a shot of the player as he sits on the bench.

6. 1987 Topps Baseball Card Tiffany Nolan Ryan RC #757

1987 Topps Baseball Card Tiffany Nolan Ryan

Nolan Ryan is another huge name from the era. During his stellar 27-year MLB career he struck out 5,714 batters which still ranks 1st for most career strikeouts of all time.

Related: Best Nolan Ryan Rookie Cards

1987 is a long time since his RC year (1968), and that’s reflected in the overall price tag for the newer card.

However, both are surrounded by the familiar wood-effect border.

5. 1987 Topps Traded Tiffany Fred McGriff RC #74T

Excluding players either associated with alleged steroid use and those not yet eligible, Fred McGriff has the most career home runs of any player not in the Hall of Fame.

Unlike the cards we’ve mentioned so far, the McGriff RC isn’t actually available in the base 1987 Topps Baseball set.

Regardless, the Topps Traded Tiffany collection was also released in 1987. The set consisted of 132 cards, including McGriff’s Rookie Cards

It centers on an image of him gesturing with a mitt in hand.

4. 1987 Topps Tiffany Future Stars Bo Jackson RC #170

1987 topps bo jackson baseball cards

A Bo Jackson RC narrowly misses out on a spot in the top three.

Related: Best Bo Jackson Rookie Cards

If not for injuries, Jackson may have been one of the best two-way players of all time, but for a serious hip injury in 1991 against the Cincinnati Bengals, which ended both his football and baseball aspirations.

The ‘Future Stars’ subset is where you’ll find his ‘87 baseball RC.

Six cards of upcoming prospects were noted with the term “Future Stars” across the bottom, just above the player name.

3. 1987 Topps Traded Tiffany Greg Maddux RC #70T

greg maddux 1987 topps

Greg Maddux won the 1995 World Series with the Atlanta Braves and was an eight-time All-Star over three different decades (1988-2000).

Related: Best Greg Maddux Rookie Cards

His RC can be found in the ‘87 Topps Traded set, easily denoted thanks to the ‘T’ on the card number.

It’s always been popular with collectors, while a PSA Gem Mint 10 #70T Maddux sold for $865 in 2021.

The price would have been unheard of just a few years ago, especially for a set that is cheaper than most.

Not just one of the best from the set, or even the year, it’s a great pick across the entire decade.

2. 1987 Topps Baseball Tiffany Mark McGwire RC #366

1987 mark mcgwire topps baseball card

Best known for breaking the Roger Maris single-season home run record in 1998, Mark McGwire was also dogged by allegations of steroid abuse due to the numbers he put up over the years.

Related: Best Mark McGwire Rookie Cards

That hasn’t stopped his RC prices from rocketing in recent years.

McGwire is featured in a simple profile shot as he steps up to the plate in his ‘87 Topps Tiffany card.

We consider the 1987 Topps Tiffany, 1987 Leaf, and 1985 Topps Tiffany to be great long-term investments with low risk. All three should have a similar ROI in the long term.

1. 1987 Topps Baseball Tiffany Barry Bonds RC #320

1987 barry bonds topps tiffany

A player that needs no introduction, Barry Bonds was the home run king, he’s the all-time leader in walks, and owns a career 1.051 OPS.

Related: Best Barry Bonds Rookie Cards

As with McGwire and Canseco, many of his cards were disregarded in the past due to suspicions of foul play.

Time heals all wounds, and it’s certainly true if you’ve been holding onto PSA 10 copies of his 1987 Topps Tiffany RC for any great length of time.

If Barry Bonds makes the Hall of Fame, his rookie cards would be a goldmine.

5 Most Valuable 1987 Topps Baseball Cards

If you’re solely interested in the most valuable cards, here are our current picks from the set. We’ve also included a couple of Topps Traded Tiffany cards that were too good to pass on.

Remember, for overproduced sets like 1987 Topps Baseball, PSA 10 copies are the only ones that are likely to retain any real value in the long term.

  1. 1987 Barry Bonds Topps Tiffany RC #320
  2. 1987 Mark McGwire Topps Tiffany #366
  3. 1987 Greg Maddux Topps Tiffany RC #70T
  4. 1987 Fred McGriff Topps Tiffany RC #74T
  5. 1987 Bo Jackson Topps Future Stars RC #170

If we had to choose one over all others, it’s likely to be a contest between the Bonds RC and the Maddux RC for the top spot.

The former still has a chance to explode in price, and it’s already worth four times more compared to 2019 prices.

The latter is a Hall of Fame pitcher who won more games during the 1990s than any other and is the only pitcher to record more than 300 wins, more than 3,000 strikeouts, and fewer than 1,000 walks.

1987 Topps Baseball Cards: Error Cards

1987 Topps Baseball Error cards can often be some of the more interesting options overall, especially if they’re recognized as such by collectors and grading companies.

The Trading Card Database has a list of common ‘87 Topps errors and variations, with 10 in total.

Don Mattingly is joined by Urbano Lugo and Dwight Gooden on the list, although none appear to be worth any significant amount of money compared to the heavy-hitters mentioned above.

However, it’s not a comprehensive list, which makes sense as 1987 Topps Baseball has a massive 792-card checklist (related: 2019 Topps Update Series 1 Checklist)..

Subsets included; All-Stars Checklists, Future Stars, Manager Cards, Record Breakers, Team Leaders, Topps All-Star Rookies, and Turn Back The Clock.

Given the age of the sets, it’s not uncommon to find error cards, which often come in the form of misprinted versions that were laid incorrectly.

For example, we found a graded 1987 Topps Barry Bonds #320 double error card on eBay, missing the lower part of the “3” and the top of the “0” on the reverse.

Investment Analysis and Advice

The 1987 Topps set is fondly remembered thanks to strong design choices and a large checklist of 792 cards.

It’s undoubtedly an iconic set, even if they were overproduced along with many others during the late 1980s.

  • Set Investment Rating: Buy (4.1 out of 5)
  • Ownership Disclosure: None
  • Best 1987 Topps Card: Barry Bonds Tiffany

As for the cards themselves, it’s clear that PSA 10 copies are the way to go if you’re hoping to maximize ROI in the long term.

There are simply too many; supply outweighs demand, and the drop-off for 9 grades is significant.

Unfortunately, they were also released during the start of ‘the steroids era’, which tainted many heavy hitters from the late ’80s through to the late 2000s.

Attitudes have begun to soften ever so slightly, while their names will remain in the record books, even if there’s still an element of doubt compared to modern stars and old pros.

It’s not the worst investment by any means, and they’re a little underpriced considering the quality of the rookie class.

Klay Thompson Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Klay Thompson Prizm Rookie Card

Steph Curry and Klay Thompson make up the dynamic duo known as the splash brothers on the Golden State Warriors. Everyone knows how good Steph Curry is, but casual basketball fans might not know about Klay Thompson’s greatness.

He might not be Steph Curry, but Klay Thompson is one of the greatest shooters in the history of the NBA. Through 647 career regular-season games, Klay has a three-point shooting percentage of .417.

He has completed nine NBA seasons, winning three NBA championships, appearing in five all-star games, and getting named to two All-NBA Third Teams. Additionally, he was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2019.

Related Players RC: Tyler Herro Rookie Cards | Pete Maravich Rookie Cards

Although he was not an all-star immediately, Klay had an impressive rookie season. After getting drafted 11th overall by the Golden State Warriors in 2011, he averaged 12.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in 66 games played.

His performance earned his selection on the NBA All-Rookie First Team. Since then, Klay has only improved and solidified himself as a future Hall of Famer.

With that in mind, Klay Thompson’s rookie cards are an interesting investment option for collectors.

Best Klay Thompson Rookie Cards

Klay Thompson has several rookie cards, and as a result, it can be challenging to figure out which ones are the best investment options. Fortunately, we are here to help and can make the process easier for you.

Related Players RC: Bill Russell Rookie Cards | Luka Doncic Rookie Cards

Here we will look at the three best Klay Thompson rookie cards on the market and their value as investment commodities.

2012 Klay Thompson Panini Prizm Silver Rookie Card #203

2022 Klay Thompson Prizm Rookie Card

Although some other cards are more affordable, there are no better chrome-based basketball cards than those printed by Prizm. As a result, the first-edition cards of this collection get a lot of attention from collectors and hobbyists.

Klay Thompson’s Prizm rookie card is as iconic as they get. You can see a young Klay in the center of the card with a silver border surrounding him. He is wearing his white Warriors uniform, and he’s dribbling while protecting the ball from a defender.

Copies in close to mint condition can sell for $5000 or more at auction. As a result, while this is a valuable card and fun to look at, it is not an attainable option for the average collector. Nonetheless, it is a great option to add to your set if you can afford it.

2012 Klay Thompson Panini Select Silver Auto #170

2022 Klay Thompson Select Rookie Card

Panini has several collections that they release every year, and every set has something unique about it. Additionally, they put in the effort to release new sets from time to time. When Klay was a rookie, they released their first Select collection.

Klay’s card quickly became a fan favorite in the set, and one of the most valuable options. Furthermore, only 149 copies were released, and as a result, the price got driven up even more.

The card itself features Klay Thompson in his blue Warriors uniform as he carries the ball up-court. However, what makes the card pop is the authentic autograph from Klay Thompson at the bottom.

In near-mint condition, this card can be sold for nearly $700, but in perfect condition, it can sell for even more at auction.

2012 Klay Thompson National Treasures Rookie Patch Auto #110

2022 Klay Thompson National Treasures Rookie Card

Another one of the most expensive options is the National Treasures card. Again, this card is not necessarily a great option for more budget-oriented investors, but there is no denying that it is one of Klay Thompson’s best rookie cards.

This card is a beautiful option, and it has a unique horizontal orientation. Klay is visible on the left side of the card, and the right side features an authentic Golden State patch. Below the image of Klay Thompson is his autograph.

Again the biggest downside to people looking to purchase this card is how expensive it is. It can sell for well over $8000 on eBay and at auctions. As a result, it is not a realistic option for many investors. However, if you can get your hands on it, it should rise in price.

Klay Thompson Rookie Card Value

We discussed this a little bit above, but the most valuable Klay Thompson rookie cards can sell for thousands of dollars. The more common cards can still sell for hundreds of dollars in near-mint condition.

With that in mind, we can provide you with the estimated value for a card if you contact us with two pictures of it.

Klay Thompson Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

Klay Thompson’s rookie cards are in an interesting spot because it has been a decade since he entered the league. As a result, there has been time for his cards to rise in value as he established himself as a Hall of Famer.

That being said, while his cards are already expensive, we expect them to continue to rise in price. Klay is going to be a Hall of Famer, and as a result, they should have longevity. We expect his cards to steadily rise in value over time like a mutual fund.

Additionally, Thompson is one of the most likable players in the NBA, and as a result, more people will be interested in purchasing his cards.

  • Investment Rating: Solid Buy (3.7 out of 5)
  • Risk / Return Analysis: Medium Risk / Medium Return
  • Ownership Disclosure: None

Ja Morant Rookie Card – Best 3 Cards, Value, and Checklist

best ja morant rookie card investments

Memphis Grizzlies rookie point guard Ja Morant will make a huge impact on the 2019-20 NBA season. Memphis drafted Jamel “Ja” Morant’s second overall out of Murray State in the 2019 NBA Draft.

He’s one point guard who can do it all – create his own shot, shoot from the three-point area, and find the open man.

The Memphis Grizzlies had so much confidence in the kid they traded veteran point guard Mike Conley, Jr. to the Utah Jazz just two weeks after they drafted Morant freeing up a full-time gig for him on the court.

Top Ja Morant Rookie Cards

Let’s check out some of the best Ja Morant rookie cards to date.

2019 Ja Morant National Treasures RPA /99 RC #118

2019 National Treasures Ja Morant ROOKIE CARD RPA

Not many collectors will be able to afford this bad boy BUT if you have the bankroll to nab it on eBay auctions it should be a solid investment for years to come (and will be a huge moneymaker when you go to sell).

Trending: Best Wander Franco RCs

Numbered #118 the Ja Morant National Treasures RPA RC /99 shows Ja taking a simple jump shot which we can only assume resulted in a… swoosh! His name and auto sit at the bottom while the patch is placed at the top.

The Rookie Patch Autographs subset has a horizontal Morant RC with base copies limited to just 75. The auto is on-card, and the player patch is large. Meanwhile, there’s a smaller image of Morant found on the left, while starring for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Top Investment: Tom Brady Rookie Cards

A great investment BUT you will need to forgo that BMW if you want to purchase this Ja RC.

FOTL Parallels: Stars & Stripes #/30, Stars & Stripes Blue #/3

2019 Ja Morant Panini Prizm RC #249

ja morant rookie card prizm

This is a must-have card for all Ja collectors. The card features Mr. Morant with the ball, scanning the court for an open player or to take the lane by storm!

Panini has numbered the card 249 and the back reads “Morant loves using his super tight handle to draw a chorus of oohs and aahs from fans from before finishing at the rim with an empathic jam or dishing out a dazzling dime to a teammate.

“A master of the dribble, he can control the ball like it’s tied to wrist with a string and fake a defender out of his shoes with either hand”

On the surface, it’s a simple card, with an action shot of Morant dribbling placed against a unique background that catches the eye.

Of the various parallels available, the Purple version has proved to be a major hit with collectors so far. Non-serial-numbered copies are relatively affordable, even when graded.

Prizm Parallels: Silver, Green, Hyper, Red/White/Blue, White Sparkle, Red #/299, Blue #/199, Purple #/75, Orange #/49, Mojo #/25, Gold #/10, Black Gold #/5, Black 1/1

2019 Ja Morant Panini Contenders RC #118

Buy on eBay

This card is a true stunner (a number one stunner!) and features Ja with a stone-cold stare on his face looking to kick some ass on the court or off if need be!

The popular  2019-20 Panini Contenders sets take one the top spot on our list of the best Ja Morant RCs.

It’s hard to find many collectors who aren’t fans of the design, while there’s space for a prominent auto at the bottom. There are also a couple of image variations, seeing the player in a few different poses with the ball in his hands.

Ticket Parallels: Playoff #/99, The Finals #/49, Cracked Ice #/25, Championship 1/1, Printing Plates 1/1

Premium Ticket Parallels: Base, Green Shimmer, Blue Shimmer FOTL #/20, Gold #/10, Gold Vinyl 1/1

2019 Ja Morant Donruss Optic Rookie Card Signatures #168

Buy on eBay

We love the 2019 Donruss Optic Rated Rookies and the Ja is no different.

The card is numbered #168 and comes in two different versions; one with the ball up above his right shoulder, scanning the hardtop for a pass, and the second versions show Ja with the ball, dribbling it between his legs hot-dogging it.

Both are great investments for high-end collectors. The reverse of the card reads “Morant’s introduction to Memphis was cause for celebration, just the first of many he will bring to the city. The Grizzlies floor general was the toast of the town on June 21, 2019, with fans swelling inside the FedExForum as the rookie was welcomed into the organization“.

2019 Ja Morant Panini Mosaic RC #219

ja morant mosaic rookie card

In our opinion, the Mosaic brand is darn close to being just as good as the Prizm brand. Not only do the Mosaic hit the mark via design but they hold up very well to PSA grading.

The 2019 Mosaic Ja Morant RC #219 is a SOLID investor for buyers looking to own a piece of Morant without a huge price tag.

2019 Ja Morant Panini Crown Royale KABOOM! RC #10

2019-20 Panini Crown Royale Basketball contains the hyper-rare Kaboom! insert, which is insanely popular no matter which sport you’re looking at.

Only 25 players were given the SSP treatment, including Morant as he leaps towards the net in a stylized image.

Just 19 have received a gem mint grade from PSA at the current time of writing, giving some indication of just how rare they actually are.

2019 Ja Morant Panini Immaculate RC #117

Another Morant card that combines a patch and an on-card auto can be found in 2019-20 Panini Immaculate boxes.

It’s more affordable than the National Treasures, with the base card being serial numbered to 99.

The patch is also significantly smaller, but it’s still one of the more valuable Morant RCs.

Base Parallels: Jersey Number #/88, Red #/25, Gold #/10, Tag #/5, Logoman 1/1

Best Ja Morant Rookie Card: 2019 Prizm Ja Morant RC #249 (BUY ON EBAY) for moderate investors or 2019 National Treasures Ja Morant RPA RC /99 #118 (BUY ON EBAY) for high-end investors.

Imagine what level this kid will be playing in in 2 or 3 years… we have a feeling he has a good chance to be a better player than Stephen Curry.

If the Grizzlies can provide Morant with a supporting cast not only do we think he will win a few MVP’s but we also think he will win an NBA Championship ring or three.

Mitch Marner Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Mitch Marner Young Guns Rookie Card

As the 2022 NHL playoffs begin, the pressure is on for Mitch Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs. After exiting in the first round for five consecutive years, the Maple Leafs fandom will not tolerate another first-round exit.

No player on the Leafs has more pressure on them than Mitch Marner. Marner has the unfortunate distinction of being the second-best player on the Leafs behind Auston Matthews.

He notoriously did not score in the 2021 playoffs, and despite having a great season in 2022, Marner needs to perform in the playoffs.

Related Players RC: Mikko Rantanen Rookie Cards | Andrei Vasilevskiy Rookie Cards

With that in mind, Marner has been a tremendous player for the Maple Leafs since his rookie season. As a rookie, Marner scored 19 goals and 61 points in 77 games. Since then he has only improved, putting together four straight point per game seasons.

Marner’s tremendous rise to become one of the best players in the NHL has led the price of his rookie cards to rise. The fact that he is playing on the most popular team in the league does not hurt either.

As a result, people looking to invest in hockey cards should consider adding Mitch Marner to their collection.

Best Mitch Marner Rookie Cards

Investing in hockey cards can be challenging because they do not have as much mainstream appeal as those from the NBA or NFL. However, the top player’s cards still make for solid investments, and Mitch Marner is one of those players.

Related Players RC: Alexis Lafreniere Rookie Cards | Connor McDavid Rookie Cards

Here we are going to look at three of Mitch Marner’s best rookie cards.

2016-17 Mitch Marner Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns RC #468

2022 Mitch Marner Young Guns Rookie Card

Upper Deck puts out their Young Guns collection every year, and every year it has all of the best rookies in the NHL. In 2016, their collection included this Mitch Marner card. Today it is one of the best cards in the collection.

Marner can be seen in his blue Maple Leafs jersey as he strides up the ice. The Upper Deck logo is in the top left, and the Young Guns logo is across the bottom of the card.

The back of the card displays Marner’s impressive statistics from his junior career in the OHL. It also lists his height, weight, birthday, birthplace, and handedness.

2016-17 Mitch Marner SP Authentic Future Watch RC #148

2022 Mitch Marner SP Authentic Rookie Card

The Future Watch collection is another rookie collection that sells very well every year. This card had 999 copies printed in a limited run. Since the cards are scarce, the value of the card has risen drastically, reaching four figures in most cases.

The thing that makes this card stand out is that it features an authentic autograph from Mitch Marner. You can see the autograph towards the bottom of the card between Marner’s legs. The picture features Marner moving to his left in his white Leafs jersey.

The back of the card is standard, featuring his junior statistics, another small image of Marner, physical characteristics, and a blurb that verifies the authenticity of the autograph.

2016 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee Update Marquee Rookies Mitch Marner #672

2022 Mitch Marner Pee-Chee Rookie Card

The final card we want to look at is this one from O-Pee-Chee. This high-quality card has a picture of Marner looking off into the distance in his blue Maple Leafs jersey.

At the bottom of the card are the Maple Leafs’ logo and Marner’s name. The right side of the card features a red stripe that reads “Marquee Rookies Marquee Recrue.”

The back of the card is very basic with a brown background. There is a large, faded Maple Leafs logo in the center. Then at the top, you can see Marner’s statistics from his three years with the London Knights of the OHL.

Mitch Marner Rookie Card Value

The value of Mitch Marner rookie cards can vary drastically depending on a variety of factors. Common cards in mint condition can be purchased for low three-figure or high two-figure prices.

However, cards like the one from the Future Watch collection that had a limited run can sell for well over $1000. The price goes up even more if they are autographed.

If you have a Mitch Marner rookie card and you want to know its value, let us know. Please include two photos in your comment or email.

Mitch Marner Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

Mitch Marner is one of the 15 best offensive players in the NHL, and he is still incredibly young. He also plays for the most popular team in the league in the Toronto Maple Leafs. As a result, his cards are a slam dunk buy for investors.

Marner’s cards should only increase in value over the next five years. Additionally, if the Leafs ever win a cup, they will skyrocket.

The low price of the common cards combined with the likely career trajectory of Mitch Marner makes his cards an easy buy.

  • Investment Rating: Great Buy (4.6 out of 5.0)
  • Risk / Return Analysis: Low Risk / High Return
  • Ownership Disclosure: None

Tyler Herro Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Tyler Herro Prizm Rookie Card

Every year the NBA is lucky to have new players like Tyler Herro enter the league. However, not all of them have an immediate impact like Herro did with the Miami Heat.

As the 2022 playoffs take place, Herro is wrapping up just his third NBA season, but his impact has been tremendous.

Drafted 13th overall in the 2019 draft by the Miami Heat, Herro appeared in 55 games in the 2019-20 season, averaging 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. Unfortunately, his rookie year was cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Related Players RC: Bill Russel Rookie Cards | LeBron James Rookie Cards

However, the NBA came back for the bubble playoffs, and the Heat went on a cinderella run to the NBA finals. They eventually fell to the Los Angeles Lakers, but it was an incredible run.

Herro played a big part in the team’s playoff run, averaging 16 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 21 games.

Tyler Herro’s sophomore season saw him take a small step forward, but his third year was when he really exploded onto the scene. Averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 66 games, Herro was named the 2022 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

Herro is on an impressive trajectory, and as a result, we think it is important to look at his rookie cards.

Best Tyler Herro Rookie Cards

We know that it can be difficult to figure out which rookie cards you should invest in. Here we’re going to look at some of Tyler Herro’s best rookie cards.

2019 Panini Prizm Tyler Herro RC #259

2022 Tyler Herro Prizm Rookie Card

The Panini Prizm collection always has the most sought-after cards from every rookie class. That did not change in 2019 as Tyler Herro’s best rookie card came from that collection.

It is a simple card that features Herro dribbling the ball up the court in his black Heat uniform. You can see the RC logo in the top right and the Prizm logo towards the bottom of Tyler Herro’s name. The background is a mixture of black, red, and blue.

On the back of the card, you can read a short blurb about Herro’s mindset. It mentions that Herro prefers to feed off the energy of hostile crowds rather than the cheers of his fans.

Additionally, you can see his NCAA totals from his only year at the University of Kentucky.

An added benefit of purchasing this card is that there are several parallel Prizms that you can choose from.

2019 Panini Donruss Rated Rookie Tyler Herro RC #212

2022 Tyler Herro Donruss Rookie Card

When you are looking for mainstream options, there are few better options than the Donruss Rated Rookie Card collection. These cards are easily accessible because of their high print run.

Since there are many of these cards in circulation, they are better for budget-oriented buyers. However, that does not mean that these cards don’t have value. In fact, cards from this collection consistently rise in value every year.

The card itself features Herro standing with the ball in his hands. He is wearing his black Miami uniform, and the picture has a white border.

You can see the Donruss logo in the top right, and the Rated Rookie logo in the bottom left of the card.

2019 Panini National Treasures Auto Patch Tyler Herro RC #132

2022 Tyler Herro National Treasures Rookie Card

Finally, we could not leave the National Treasures Tyler Herro rookie card off our list. It’s one of the few Tyler Herro rookie cards with all the marks of a premium card.

There is an on-card autograph, jersey patch, and there are only 99 copies in circulation. As a result, it is the rarest Tyler Herro rookie card on the market.

Another appealing aspect of this card is that its design is fantastic. It features Herro taking a jump shot on the left of the card, with the jersey patch on his right. His autograph is clearly visible towards the bottom of the card.

The only downside to this card is that it’s very expensive because of its rarity and elite features. It can cost well into the five figures at auctions.

Tyler Herro Rookie Card Value

Tyler Herro is only a third-year pro in 2022, and he is coming off a Sixth Man of the Year performance. However, despite being early in his career, his cards are quite valuable already.

There is a lot of hype around Herro, which has caused the price of his cards to increase.

If you have a Tyler Herro rookie card and you want to know its value, contact us. Include two pictures of the card in your inquiry.

Tyler Herro Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

It is best to invest in players’ rookie cards when they are young. Tyler Herro is just 22 years old, and as a result, there is a chance that he could improve drastically. Improvement of any sort should cause the value of his cards to rise.

However, there is reason to be cautious with these cards. Many of them are already very expensive, and Herro is coming off a tremendous year.

He could have an all-star season next year, but it also wouldn’t be the first time a Sixth Man of the Year winner took a step back.

There is certainly value to be had here, but there is also reason to proceed with caution.

Mikko Rantanen Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

Mikko Rantanen Rookie Cards

Mikko Rantanen does not get the national media attention of other top stars in the NHL, but there is no doubt he is amongst the best players in the league.

Playing for the Colorado Avalanche, it is understandable that Rantanen gets lost in the shuffle by those that do not follow the team closely.

After all, the Avalanche have other superstars including Nathan Mackinnon and Cale Makar.  While Rantanen is the third-best player in Colorado, he would be the best player on many teams.

Related Players RC: Nicklas Lidstrom Rookie Cards | Mats Sundin Rookie Cards

Drafted 10th overall in the stacked 2015 NHL Entry Draft, an argument can be made that Rantanen is the second-best player in the draft (no one is touching Connor McDavid).

Through six full seasons, Rantanen has played 408 games, and he has 408 points. He also has 52 points in 43 playoff games.

His greatness was evident in his rookie year. After only appearing in nine games in 2015-16 before getting sent to the AHL, his official year came in 2016-17.

That year he scored 20 goals and 38 points in 75 games. He then broke out the next season with 84 points in 81 games.

Since then, Rantanen has been a key piece in turning the Colorado Avalanche into a Stanley Cup contender.

As a result, it should be no surprise to hear that Mikko Rantanen rookie cards are a smart investment at this time.

Best Mikko Rantanen Rookie Cards

Hockey cards are not as popular as basketball or football cards, but there are still investment opportunities for the top stars.

Related Players RC: Andrei Vasilevskiy Rookie Cards | Alexis Lafreniere Rookie Cards

Rantanen does not have the name recognition of the other top stars yet, but he is on that trajectory, and as a result, his cards are an interesting investment option.

Here we will look at three of the best Mikko Rantanen rookie cards that you can purchase.

2015-16 Upder Deck Mickko Rantanen Young Guns #206

Mikko Rantanen Rookie Cards

The Young Guns hockey card collection is the most sought-after collection of hockey cards every year.

Every year Upper Deck releases a collection of cards featuring the top rookies in the game. These cards always rise in value for the best players, and they are looked at as the most valuable cards in the industry.

This card features Mikko Rantanen striding towards the right side of the card in his maroon Avalanche jersey. You can see the Upper Deck logo in the top left. The bottom of the card reads “Mikko Rantanen, Young Guns.”

The back of the card has information about Rantanen’s career in Finland before the draft. It also lists his physical characteristics.

2015-16 SP Game-Used Authentic Rookies /96 Mikko Rantanen #149

2022 Mikko Rantanen SP Game-Used Rookie Card

This SP Game-Used card is part of the Authentic Rookies set. In the picture, Rantanen is looking to his right as he strides up ice in his maroon Avalanche gear.

The SP Game-Used logo is in the top left, and it reads “Authentic Rookies” in the top right. The bottom of the card features Rantanen’s name, position, and team.

You will notice that the back of the card is nearly identical to the Young Guns card. It features Rantanen’s pre-draft statistics and physical characteristics.

2015-16 Mikko Rantanen Exquisite Tribute RC #03TMR

2022 Mikko Rantanen Exquisite Tribute Rookie Card

The final card is this exquisite rookie patch from Upper Deck. It is not part of the Young Guns collection, and instead, it features game-worn memorabilia.

The front of the card features a small image of Rantanen towards the top with the words “Exquisite Rookie Patch” written across the top. Below the image, it reads “Mikko Rantanen Colorado.”

There is then a black strip with the middle featuring a section of Rantanen’s game-worn jersey. Finally, below that Rantanen’s autograph is featured across the bottom.

The back of the card features a short explanation of where the memorabilia came from and its significance. It also certifies the authenticity of the autograph.

Mikko Rantanen Rookie Card Value

Mikko Rantanen is still relatively young, and he plays in a market that does not get a lot of media attention. As a result, he is not a household name.

However, we expect his name to be mentioned amongst the top 10 forwards in the league for years to come. In 2021-22, he scored 92 points in 75 games, good for 14th in the league. This is coming off a season where he finished 5th in scoring.

With that in mind, his top-end cards can be purchased for three and sometimes four figures if they are autographed.

If you have a Mikko Rantanen card and you want to get its estimated value, email us or leave a comment below. Please include two pictures of the card in your inquiry.

Victor Robles Rookie Cards – Top 3 Cards & Undervalued?

best victor robles rookie cards

Victor Robles, at one time, was considered on the same level as Juan Soto. They both came up in the Nationals system and were considered top 10 prospects at the age of 19.

Soto took off to new heights finishing runner up in both Rookie of the Year (2018) and NL MVP (2021). While Robles personal awards and highlights are limited to 6th in RoY 2019.

His dip in offense in 2021 was so bad even his best rookie cards can be had for under 3 figures now. And yes at these levels we think it’s worth taking a shot.

Plus even though 2022 started slow for Robles, his last 5 games have shown some promise (Washington Nationals: Victor Robles Turning A Corner?).

Why buy Victor Robles Rookie Cards?

  • His rookie cards are super cheap
  • He still has immense talent
  • He is still only 24 yards old

So yes we believe Victor Robles rookie cards are a great low-risk option. Here are three of his rookie cards we would consider buying/investing in.

Our favorite of all the Robles rookie cards and should have one of the highest ROI moving forward.

2016 Victor Robles Bowman Chrome Refractor /499 RC

victor robles bowman rookie card

Another great Victor Robles rookie card option and should be 1A to the card above in terms of return on investment if/when Robles breaks out in 2022.

Considered to be a prospect card as it was released in 2016, that hasn’t stopped this Bowman Chrome from becoming one of his more popular options. The combination of a 1st Bowman logo and an on-card auto makes it an interesting prospect.

(However, Robles did make a habit of signing many of the cards at an angle, so it spreads over to the upper side.)

Victor Robles Rookie Card Value

VR’s rookie cards are undervalued at the present time based on his potential and as we mentioned earlier in the article we have bought a few over the last week.

If you have a Victor Robles rookie card and would like an estimated price please email us at value@goldcardauctions.com (include 2 photos at minimum).

Investment Outlook

Robles was slightly overshadowed by the emergence of Juan Soto in 2019, while 2020 has been a difficult year for baseball on the whole. Regardless, he has the ability to become a true asset for Washington over the next few years, so he’s definitely one to look out for.

Even the rarest versions of his rookie cards are relatively affordable, so it’s hard to ignore them if you’re looking for a couple of good investment pieces to hold onto over the next year or so.

Stefon Diggs Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Stefon Diggs National Treasures Rookie Card

The NFL is filled with fantastic wide receivers, but very few of them are as good as Stefon Diggs. Over the past few years, Diggs has emerged as one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL.

Although he is a star right now, not much was expected of Diggs when he entered the NFL. Diggs spent three years at the University of Maryland before declaring himself for the NFL Draft.

When the draft came around, Diggs fell all the way to the 5th round where he was eventually picked by the Minnesota Vikings. He spent five years with the Vikings before a trade sent him to the Buffalo Bills.

Related Players RC: Eric Dickerson Rookie Cards | Earl Campbell Rookie Cards

Diggs really emerged as a star in the NFL in his first season in Buffalo in 2020. That year he was the NFL receptions and receiving yards leader. As a result, he was named to the All-Pro First-Team.

Although his second year in Buffalo was not as historic as the first, he still made the Pro Bowl.

As one of the best and most popular wide receivers in the world, many collectors are interested in his rookie cards.

Best Stefon Diggs Rookie Cards

Since Stefon Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, it should be no surprise to hear that his rookie cards are a desired commodity. However, it can be difficult to determine which of his cards is best.

Fortunately, we are here to help you out by looking at his three best rookie cards.

2015 Panini National Treasures Stefon Diggs Patch #141

2022 Stefon Diggs National Treasures Rookie Card

National Treasures is one of the premier trading card companies in the world, and as a result, it should be no surprise to hear that they have one of the best Stefon Diggs rookie cards.

This card has a white background with Diggs on the left side. In the image, Diggs is wearing his purple Vikings uniform and he is running the ball upfield.

The right side of the card features a patch that is oriented slightly differently in every copy of this card. At the bottom of the card, it says his name, and there is a place for an autograph.

The back of the card has a blurb that showcases Diggs’ personality and outlook on the game.

2015 Stefon Diggs Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket #235A

2022 Stefon Diggs Panini Contenders Rookie Card

The Panini Contenders set is one that generates a lot of excitement every year. In 2015, not many people expected Stefon Diggs to be a standout, but that’s what happened.

This card features a picture of Diggs catching the ball on the right side. The left side has his rookie ticket. There is then a section on the bottom for his autograph.

The back of the card uses the same image of Diggs. Additionally, it includes his height, weight, birthdate, draft position, and a scouting report.

2015 Stefon Diggs Panini Prizm #285

2022 Stefon Diggs Prizm Rookie Card

The final card we want to look at is from the Panini Prizm collection. This card has a red border with an image of Diggs carrying the ball in the middle. In the image, Diggs is wearing his purple Vikings uniform.

The bottom of the card reads “Panini Prizm, Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings” from top to bottom. You can see the rookie card logo in the top left corner.

Finally, the back of the card is fairly standard. It shows Diggs’ position, a blurb about Diggs, college stats, weight, height, and birthday.

Stefon Diggs Rookie Card Value

The National Treasures card is by far the most valuable card of the bunch. With an autograph and in mint condition, it can sell for several thousands of dollars.

If you have a Stefon Diggs rookie card that you want to get the estimated value for, email us or comment below. Please include two photos of the card in your inquiry.

Stefon Diggs Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

The best time to invest in rookie cards is when the players are still young. At that time they haven’t done anything in their career, and as a result, the value of their cards haven’t skyrocketed.

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that Diggs will have a better peak in his career than the 2020 season. Even if his prime continues for a few more years, the value of his cards probably will not increase by much.

So, these cards are valuable commodities for people that already own them, but investing in them now is not a great idea. If you turn a profit, it won’t be for much, and you are more likely to break even or lose money.

  • Investment Rating: Risky Buy (2.6 out of 5)

Bill Russell Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Bill Russell Topps Rookie Card

Bill Russell is the most decorated player in NBA history. He played in the NBA for 13 seasons and won 11 championships. He spent his entire career with the Boston Celtics.

While it’s true that Russell played at a time when there were between 8 and 14 teams in the league, his championship resume is still remarkable. No other player in NBA history has come close to equalling his championship resume.

Russel did not just have team success; he was also tremendously successful as an individual. He was the NBA MVP five times, an all-star 12 times, the rebounding champion four times, and made one All-Defensive First Team.

Related Players RC: Pete Maravich Rookie Cards | LeBron James Rookie Cards

As a result of his accomplishments, Russel’s No. 6 was retired by the Boston Celtics. Additionally, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Unfortunately for card collectors, Bill Russell played in the 50s and 60s. At this time, trading cards were far less prominent, and as a result, there are not many Bill Russell trading cards available.

With that in mind, we are going to look at the best cards out there, including Russell’s sole rookie card.

Best Bill Russell Rookie Cards

As we mentioned above, only one manufacturer printed an official Bill Russell rookie card. While we will look at that card, we do not want to stop there. As a result, we are going to look at a few of his other most valuable trading cards.

Related Players RC: Isiah Thomas Rookie Cards | Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rookie Cards

While it might be disappointing to hear that there are not many options out there, their scarcity makes them more valuable.

1957 Topps Bill Russell RC #77

2022 Bill Russell Topps Rookie Card

While there are other Bill Russell trading cards that are easier to get on a budget, this is what collectors should look to purchase.

The front of the card is fairly standard as it features Russell defending an opponent while wearing his white Celtics uniform. The only other feature on the front is a yellow and red text box displaying his name and team.

The back of the card features his age, weight, height, college, hometown, and a short blurb about his college, Olympics, and early NBA career.

This card isn’t anything special at first glance, but it is the only Bill Russell rookie card. As a result, it is tremendously valuable.

1961 Fleer Bill Russell #38

2022 Bill Russell Fleer Card

It took several years until another Bill Russell NBA product of any kind was made available. It would also be the final major release of Russell’s playing career.

Fortunately, there were two cards released as part of the 1961-62 Fleer collection. The first of these cards features a headshot of Russell with a blue background.

Above his headshot is a white strip with his position and name. Finally, the top of the card has a green background and it reads “Boston Celtics.”

1961 Fleer Bill Russell #62 In Action

2022 Bill Russell Fleer Action Card

Released in the same set as the card above, this is part of the “In Action” subset. The Fleer set contained 44 main cards including the one discussed above, and 22 action cards.

The design of this card is not very different from the other one, except the background of the image is black instead of blue.

The picture of Russell on this card features him jumping towards the basket above two opposing players. There is even a caption on the front that reads “Bill Russell Takes To The Air.”

Bill Russell Rookie Card Value

Since there is only one Bill Russell rookie card, it is extremely valuable. Their price is increased even further if they are in good condition. Since so much time has passed since their release, there are very few mint condition cards available for purchase.

Eric Dickerson Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Eric Dickerson Topps Rookie Card

Eric Dickerson is currently an NFL analyst, but if you followed football in the 80s, you knew him as one of the best running backs in the league. However, before his great NFL career, he spent four years in college.

Dickerson spent four years at Southern Methodist University. He made an All-American first-team in his final season after making a second-team in his junior year.

Following his college career, Eric Dickerson was drafted second overall in the 1983 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Dickerson spent five years with the Rams before he was traded to Indianapolis in a blockbuster deal.

Related Players RC: Tyreek Hill Rookie Cards | Javonte Williams Rookie Cards

He spent five seasons with the Colts before leaving. However, at that point, he had regressed significantly and had just two seasons left. He spent the first with the Los Angeles Raiders before going to Atlanta for his final season.

Eric Dickerson made five All-Pro First-Teams in his career and was the offensive player of the year in 1986. Additionally, he was the NFL rushing touchdowns leader in 1984. His impressive career led to his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.

With all that in mind, many collectors are interested in adding Eric Dickerson’s rookie card to their collection.

Best Eric Dickerson Rookie Cards

Dickerson played at a time when sports trading cards are not as prominent. However, while many players of that era had only one rookie card printed, that was not the case for Dickerson.

Related Players RC: Najee Harris Rookie Cards | Austin Ekeler Rookie Cards

Instead, he had several cards printed before and during his first NFL season. Here we will look at three of the best Eric Dickerson rookie cards to see which ones are the best investment options.

1984 Topps Eric Dickerson RC #280

2022 Eric Dickerson Topps Rookie Card

Although there are a few cards that were printed during his rookie season, this Topps card stands out as the most popular Eric Dickerson rookie card by far. It is Dickerson’s Pro Bowl card.

The card features Dickerson in his blue and white Rams uniform. He is not wearing his helmet in this picture but he is wearing his signature goggles.

The card has a tilted frame surrounded by orange. However, the background of his name is green.

The bottom of the card shows a Rams helmet, his position, the Topps logo, and it reads “NFC Pro Bowl Rams.”

On the back of the card, you can read about Dickerson’s incredible rookie season. It discusses his Rookie of the Year win and shows his statistics.

1984 Topps Glossy Inserts Eric Dickerson RC #2

2022 Eric Dickerson Topps Insert Rookie Card

This next card is also from Topps as they were the biggest trading card manufacturer at the time. The card has a blue border this time.

During the 1984 season, you could open a 1984 Topps pack and get one insert. In total, 11 stars were featured on the inserts, with Dickerson and Dan Marino being the most valuable.

There are a few things that make this card stand out. Firstly, it has a glossy texture, which is different from other options. Secondly, it is slightly thicker than most trading cards.

1984 Topps Eric Dickerson RC #281

2022 Eric Dickerson Topps Rookie Card 3

The two cards above are generally considered the two most valuable Eric Dickerson rookie cards. After that, there are a few other options, but we like this one the most.

This card from Topps has a red border and features Dickerson pushing upfield with the ball. He is in his blue and yellow Rams uniform.

The back of the card tells you exactly which game the card’s picture is from. It is from a Rams vs 49ers game on October 23rd, 1983.

Eric Dickerson Rookie Card Value

Most trading cards for legends of the game have already plateaued in value. However, that is not the case here.

Despite his impressive career, most Eric Dickerson rookie cards can be purchased for less than $100, even in peak condition. While they sometimes sell for more at auctions, they do not usually exceed $600 or $700.

If you want to get the estimated value for an Eric Dickerson rookie card, email us or comment below. Make sure that you include two photos of the card in your inquiry.

Eric Dickerson Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

Eric Dickerson cards are still relatively cheap, and as a result, they are interesting investment options.

Earl Campbell Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Earl Campbell Topps Rookie Cards

Earl Campbell is a former running back that had a short but successful career in the NFL. He only played in eight seasons, but in that time he built up an impressive resume.

Before entering the NFL, Campbell spent four years at the University of Texas. His college career culminated with a Heisman Trophy in 1977.

After winning his Heisman Trophy, Campbell entered the NFL Draft and was selected first overall by the Houston Oilers.

Related Players RC: Tyreek Hill Rookie Cards | Najee Harris Rookie Cards

Campbell played a very physical style during his career, and as a result, he retired early to maintain his quality of life. However, during his career, he was the NFL MVP in 1979, and the Offensive Player of the Year for three straight years from 1978 to 1980.

After six and a half years with Houston, Campbell was traded to New Orleans where he spent his final season and a half in the NFL.

Regarded as one of the best running backs in NFL history, it should be no surprise to hear that Earl Campbell is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.

As a result, despite playing in an era when trading cards were less prominent, there are still a few Earl Campell rookie cards you can choose from. Here we will look at the best options.

2022 Earl Campbell Topps Rookie Cards

This card from Topps is the official Earl Campbell rookie card. Campbell’s image is surrounded by a yellow border, followed by a black border, and finally a white border.

The top of the card shows his name, team, and his All-Pro accolades. The image on the card itself is not exciting as it simply features the top half of Campbell in his white jersey. On the back of the ard, you can read a short blurb about Campbell’s rookie season.

Earl Campbell 1979 Topps Record Breaker #331

2022 Earl Campbell Record Breaker Rookie Card

This Earl Campbell card was printed to commemorate his record-breaking rookie season. As a rookie, Campbell smashed the record for most rushing yards as a rookie with 1450.

The card itself features Campbell in his light blue Oilers uniform as he looks off to the side. The top of the card reads “1978 Record Breaker,” and the bottom reads “Most Yards, Rushing, Rookie, Earl Campbell Oilers.”

This card can be sold for a decent amount if it is in mint condition. There are also autographed copies like the one featured above which hold extra value.

1979 Oilers Team Leaders #301

2022 Earl Campbell Oilers Team Leaders Rookie Card

The final card we want to look at today is an interesting one because it is not an official rookie card. It features Earl Campbell as a rookie, but he is just one of four featured players.

The front of this card features Campbell, Ken Burrough, Willie Alexander, and Elvin Bethea. They were the Oilers’ team leaders in rushing yards, receiving yards, interceptions, and sacks in the 1978 season.

The back of the card has a checklist for Oilers rookies in the 1979 Topps set. Although this is not an official rookie card, it is valuable because not many were printed.

Earl Campbell Rookie Card Value

All of these cards have a solid value 40 years later when they are in good condition. While it is unfortunate that Topps and Campbell never reached an agreement to produce more cards, it means that the existing cards are more valuable.

If you want to get the estimated value of an Earl Campbell rookie card, you can contact us via email or comment below. Make sure that you include two photos of the card in your inquiry.

Investment Outlook

As we mentioned above, Earl Campbell and Topps never reached an agreement to mass-produce his trading cards. As a result, the cards that exist are very valuable.

His rookie card is his most valuable card, and in mint condition can still be sold for upwards of $500 at auction.

The only concern we have is that since these cards have been out so long that their value has plateaued. Regardless, it is unlikely that you will lose value buying these cards.

Pete Maravich Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Pete Maravich Topps Rookie Card

Pete Maravich, better known by his nickname Pistol Pete, was one of the greatest basketball players of his generation. His impressive career led to him being one of the youngest players inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.

Although his career in the NBA was fantastic, his dominance truly started in college. To this day, Maravich is still the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I basketball.

Following his impressive NCAA career, Maravich was drafted 3rd overall in the 1970 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks.

Related Players RC: Luka Doncic Rookie Cards | LeBron James Rookie Cards

Maravich spent 10 years with the Hawks, Jazz, and Celtics before knee injuries forced him to retire early.

He finished his career as a five-time NBA all-star, making the All-NBA First Team twice. He was also the scoring champion in 1977. Sadly, Maravich died suddenly at the age of 40 as a result of an undetected heart defect.

Pete Maravich’s impressive career and sudden death make his rookie cards an attractive option for collectors.

Best Pete Maravich Rookie Cards

These days, trading cards are a big part of the sports industry, but that was not always the case. Back in the 1970s, trading cards were not produced by many companies.

Related Players RC: Isiah Thomas Rookie Cards | Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rookie Cards

As a result, there is only one recognized Pete Maravich rookie card. Now, this would not be a very interesting article if we only looked at one card.

So, along with the rookie card, we are going to look at a few of Maravich’s other early-season trading cards.

1970 Topps Pete Maravich #123

2022 Pete Maravich Topps Rookie Card

This card from Topps is Maravich’s official rookie card. It is one of the most valuable cards in the 1970 Topps Basketball collection.

The front of the card features Maravich crouching down on one knee, holding a basketball on his elevated knee. He is wearing his white Atlanta Hawks gear, and there is a green background.

Additionally, the bottom right of the card features a large basketball with yellow text on it that reads “Pete Maravich Forward Atlanta.”

The back of the card is oriented horizontally. There you can read a short blurb about his college career at LSU.

Additionally, it displays his height, weight, and college statistics. There is also a fun comic on the back of the card that displays the fact that his father was his college coach.

Since this is the only Pete Maravich rookie card, it is very valuable. Even cards in poor condition can fetch over $100.

However, if you have a copy in near mint condition, it can be priced at five or six figures. A card sold in 2019 for $130,000.

1971 Topps Pete Maravich #55

2022 Pete Maravich Topps Second Year Card

As we mentioned above, there is only one Pete Maravich rookie card. As a result, this is not a rookie card. Instead, it is Maravich’s second-year card from Topps.

The cards from this set shrunk down to normal-sized cards and had a more traditional design. It consists of 175 players, with Maravich’s card being #55.

The card has a white border with an orange background. Ahead of the orange background, you can see Maravich holding a basketball in his blue Atlanta Hawks uniform.

The top of the card reads “Atlanta” in funky orange font. Conversely, the bottom of the card reads “Pete Maravich Hawks’ Guard.”

1972 Topps Pete Maravich #5

2022 Pete Maravich Topps Third Year Card

The final card we want to look at today is also from Topps, and it is Maravich’s third-year card. By this time, Maravich had made a name for himself in the NBA, and as a result, his card was fifth in the collection.

This card is similar to the one from the previous year as it features a white border and orange background. However, this time it reads “Hawks” in large pink lettering towards the bottom.

Below that, it reads “Pete Maravich Guard” in blue lettering. Finally, in front of the orange background, you can see Maravich dribble between his legs in his green Hawks uniform.

Pete Maravich Rookie Card Value

There is only one Pete Maravich rookie card, and as a result, it is the most valuable option. Pricing varies drastically depending on the condition of the card.

If you have a Pete Maravich rookie card and you want to get an estimated value, email us or comment below! Please include two photos of the card in your inquiry.

Pete Maravich Rookie Card Checklist

Investment Outlook

While Maravich is a legend of the game, his cards have been out for so long that their prices have stagnated. If you find his rookie card in an old collection you can turn a profit.

However, it is unlikely that you will turn much of a profit by purchasing one now and selling it later.

Julio Rodriguez is one of the top-rated prospects in baseball and many feel he is going to be very good if not an all-star.

We are not feeling it.

The only MLB prospect we are currently buying is Jordan Walker. This could change as investing in young MLB players’ rookie cards can be very fluid and not advisable for beginners or those who are not locked into the MLB prospect pipeline.

Best Long-Term Rookie Card Investment?

Over the last 4 or 5 years (2017 to 2021), we have seen an incredible run-up in sports card values. This run may never happen again in our lifetimes but if it does you will want to own two specific rookie cards.

Which two cards you ask?

Well, it won’t get better than the 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady RC #236 and 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan RC #57  what we have dubbed “The Two Goats of Cards”.

These two cards had the best performance in terms of ROI from late 2017 to early 2021 and are a MUST HAVE in your sports card investment portfolio.

PRO-TIP: when making a purchase/investment we suggest the following grades PSA 10 to PSA 6, BGS 10 to BGS 7, SGC 10 to SGC 7.

Sports cards are back in the headlines.

Obviously, sports cards have overcome the dark ERA collectors dubbed “Junk Wax”.

Get this! Not only did they overcome it but they are hotter than ever before with most valuable records being broken monthly.

Without further ado here are more tremendous sports cards investment options to buy now and hold forever.

These cards are the cream of the crop and should be the backbone of your sports card portfolio.

#1: 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. Upper Deck RC #1

Best baseball rookie card to buy now

Perhaps the most iconic sports card ever made, this 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. card from Upper Deck changed the industry forever. The higher quality material it was produced on as well as the signature photo combine to make a special card.

This card is required for every collector. Can you call yourself a true sports card collector if this card is not in your profile?

#2: 1992 Michael Jordan Upper Deck Fanimation French International Version #506

1992 Upper Deck Fanimation International French Michael Jordan #86 PSA 10 GEM

One of the most unique cards on this list, this French Michael Jordan card has an incredible design that is hard to beat. Investors should want to get their hands on this card because in the future it’s likely to be highly sought after.

Super underrated, super DRIP, super ROI in 20 years. Pro Tip: look for rare French or Spanish versions.

#3. 1979 Wayne Gretzky Topps/OPC RC #18

best trading card investments 2022-min

While hockey cards might not have quite the same market as their basketball and football counterparts at the moment when that changes the demand for these cards will go through the roof. It’s the signature card of the player who may be the most dominant athlete in North American sports history.

This card should of created “The Three GOATS of Cards”. But hockey isn’t as popular enough… yet. This will change over the next 5 to 10 years and the NHL will take a spot at one or two.

#4. 2011 Mike Trout Topps Update RC #US175

best rookie cards

Mike Trout is the best baseball player of his generation and his stats compare favorably to many of the game’s greatest legends. This is the most recently produced card on the list and arguably the best modern sports card made.

#5. 1909 Ty Cobb T206 Red/Green Portrait

best baseball cards to buy

This card has a long track record of holding its value which means that investors can be confident that they’re buying into a known asset. It’s very hard to get your hands on one of these masterpieces but if you can, you then have access to one of the most special cards in the industry.

#6. 1992 Mariano Rivera Bowman RC #302

best baseball card investments

Mariano Rivera was one of the most dominant closers of all time and his cutter will forever be remembered as unhittable. He was a key part of the New York Yankees teams that dominated the MLB and was a fan favorite. This card has a great image of him as a young man and has a bit of a cheaper upfront cost than the other cards on this list.

#7: 1993 Derek Jeter SP FOIL RC #279

best baseball card to invest in

Another player from those dominant Yankees teams of the 2000s, Jeter resonated with fans far and wide and built a reputation as a stand-up guy. Because of how many fans want his cards, this is also a safe investment choice.

1993 Jeter SP Foil RC: Ultra-low risk. High to Very High returns. Win-Win baby.

Please note many of the cards mentioned in the article further down could easily make the above list as we’re talking super small percent when comparing ROI in regards to the top-rated card investments in the hobby.

The return on investment (ROI) on certain cards over the past 4-5 years has been insane and those who jumped in early are sitting fat down south.

For example, the 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. Upper Deck Star Rookie and the 2011 Mike Trout Update are two excellent examples as both have increased in value by more than 700% from 5 years ago.

For example, there’s much less risk in a Hall of Fame player such as Ken Griffey Jr. compared to a current player such as Zion Williamson). The best sports cards to collect for a profit below may be updated from time to time with a new face or subtract one that didn’t quite pan out.

But the Blue-Chip Hall of Fame players and active players will always have a spot as they are your safest, most profitable card investments. However, the top ROI usually comes in the form of a first or second-year player who is just starting their career (i.e., LaMelo Ball), but they carry more risk.

Just remember the above when choosing the best rookie cards to buy to maximize hobby profits.

Best Baseball Cards To Buy Right Now

2017 Ronald Acuna Jr. Bowman Chrome RC #BCP127

best baseball cards

If you’d prefer a long-term investment, we’re personally holding onto this Acuna Jr. card for the next 10 years if all goes to plan.

Not only can Acuna Jr. blast the ball out of the park with a haunting uppercut swing, he also hits for a high average and even has a good deal of speed – which is very Mike Trout-esque.

Ronald Acuna Jr. has a knack to upset opposing players and sure he can be a little too flashy at times, but the talent is right up there with Mike Trout, Cody Bellinger, and Juan Soto

We like his 2017 Bowman Chrome card as a great long-term investment (Chrome base and Refractors).

1993 Derek Jeter SP Foil RC #279

best baseball card to invest in

A few years ago, we saw this card as a brilliant short-term investment due to the likely price hike once he was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Ceremony took place in July 2020, and sure enough, Jeter gained 99.7% of the vote to earn his spot. The 1993 SP Jeter was one of our first major purchases.

We loaded up on around 20 of them, mostly PSA 9 but a few PSA 8’s as well. We sold too early on maybe half but still had a juicy profit of around 400%.

T206 Ty Cobb Red/Green Portrait HOF Baseball Card

best ty cobb baseball card investments

Ty Cobb has a duo of portrait cards that are highly sought after in the T206 set. There are four overall, and the Green Portrait is the rarest, with Bat on Shoulder, Bat off Shoulder, and Red Portrait making up the quartet. The red and green backgrounds are some of the more popular versions and are a must-have for serious collectors.

Ty Cobb T206 cards are an excellent investment and should steadily rise in the long term.

1989 Ken Griffey Jr. 1989 Upper Deck RC #1

Best baseball rookie cards invest

This is a true no-brainer. The Griffey Jr. RC is an iconic card to millions of kids who came of age in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It’s the signature card of an era in which the hobby reached its highest highs. We have seen the card steadily climb in value every year since we started tracking prices.

2018 Topps Ronald Acuna Jr. Bat Down RC #698

best cards to buy

This card may very well end up as the most popular Ronald Acuna rookie card. Numbered #698, this card has exploded in value and is quickly becoming a must-have for Acuna Jr. collectors.

(The card is an error as the normal card has the bat pointing upwards.)

We love this card and actually prefer this over the Acuna 2017 Bowman Chrome card, it is truly one of the best sports cards to invest in if you can tolerate a moderate level of risk.

1987 Greg Maddux Leaf RC #36

top rated baseball cards

We really like this Greg Maddux for a few reasons, number one being the ‘stache! A young, baby-faced Maddux with a mustache is awesome to behold. Thirdly, we have always loved the signature light blue “rated rookie” logo printed on the bottom of the card.

On top of everything we’ve mentioned, this card is cheap when compared to many of the others on this list (for now). When we first added Maddux to the list you could find PSA 10 copies for roughly $230/240.

As of late 2021, this has now jumped to the $700-$1,000 range.

2011 Mike Trout Topps Update RC #US175

best cards to invest in

This is the most iconic baseball card since the 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. Upper Deck RC, and the price jump over the last few years definitely reflects that.

When we first started this blog, the Mike Trout Topps Update Rookie Card PSA 10 was going for $400 to $500. That’s insane profit and a reminder of why it’s a great idea to stick with legends and potential GOATs.

1909-11 Ty Cobb T206 Bat Off Shoulder #350

best baseball cards to buy on ebay

The second T206 Cobb card to make the list, we think that the “bat off shoulder” T206 card is another great long-term play. We love the multi-color background and his stone-cold stare off into the distance. We also love the potential for profit in the future.

1992 Mariano Rivera Bowman Baseball RC #302

Best Relief Pitchers Rookie Cards to buy now

Mariano Rivera is not only the best relief pitcher off-all time but also one of the most underrated rookie cards in baseball in terms of price and eye appeal. The card has made up ground in terms of value over the last year but should still have a big upward track over the next few years.

Now, let’s talk about that outfit. Not only does it have nothing to do with baseball, but you would also think he was a high school principal or maybe a semi-pro in tennis, anything other than the relief pitcher for the NY Yankees.

We absolutely love this card!

2016 Fernando Tatis Jr. Bowman Chrome Refractor RC #CPAFT

best baseball cards to buy now

Fernando Tatis Jr. proved his rookie year was no fluke as he has been the best player in the game over the last few seasons. This kid is loaded for bear and he is only 22 years old! Either his 2016 Bowman Chrome rookie card or the 2016 Bowman Chrome Refractor RC are two great options for long-term investors.

Best Football Cards To Invest In 2021

2020 Justin Herbert Panini Prizm RC #325

best football cards to invest in now

Drew Brees and Tom Brady are on their way out but we have some great young talent at the QB position that looks ready to take over. One of those young bucks is Justin Herbert, and this kid is clearly the real deal. We feel that Herbert’s rookie cards are undervalued and that they are severely undervalued based on his long-term potential.

A great card to capitalize on this young phenom’s career is the 2020 Justin Herbert Prizm RC. A dark horse candidate in 2021, thank us later when he wins his first MVP award.

2000 Tom Brady SP Authentic Rookie Card #118 (for high limit investors)

tom brady rookie card

This card is the certified GOAT of Tom Brady Rookie Cards and is one of our best picks for long-term card investing. It is numbered #118 and has a print run of only 1,250 copies. This card is on another level, combining rarity and artistic appeal.

2000 Tom Brady Bowman Chrome RC #236 (for average investors)

gold card hot 10 tom brady

It won’t come any better than Tom Brady. Over the last 5 years, we have seen an incredible run-up in sports card values. But guess which card saw the best ROI of them all? 2000 Tom Brady Bowman Chrome.

2017 Patrick Mahomes II Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket #303

flipping baseball cards for profit

Patrick Mahomes may be ushering in a new era in football – out with the old (Tom Brady) and in with the new.

We fully expect Mahomes to win at least one more Superbowl and maybe even run a string of them together to move the dynasty West to Kansas City (bye-bye New England).

All of Mahomes’ rookie cards are great investments but we particularly like the Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket and feel as though this one has the greatest ROI relative to his uber-expensive rookie cards.

1986 Jerry Rice Topps RC #161

best football cards to invest in today

Jerry Rice was without a doubt the best receiver the NFL has ever seen; and likely will ever see. His work ethic was second to none, and his desire to win was just as great.

But guess who else had a great worth ethic? Michael Jordan. Check out the top-rated Michael Jordan Basketball Card investments.

Numbered #161, the 1986 Topps Rice rookie card seems somewhat undervalued to us given the greatness of the player. It might have something to do with how bad this Topps set looks, with bright colors that clash with the border.

Best Basketball Cards To Invest In 2021

2018 Luka Doncic Panini Prizm RC #280

best sports cards to invest in now

The 2018 Luka Doncic Prizm rookie card has been nothing but jaw-dropping since he first arrived on the scene.

One Investment Only: Were buying a Luka Doncic Rookie Card

It’s a must-have for any serious investor attempting to maximize profit from their sports card collection.

“The Luka Doncic Panini Prizm Rookie Card is a must-have for collectors and is one of the best investments; if not the best investment in the entire hobby”

The card is also available in a variety of rare parallels.

1986 Michael Jordan Fleer Rookie Card #57

Michael Jordan rookie cards are some of the greatest investments in the hobby, and the ’86 Fleer is the best by a wide margin.

Not only is it a top-rated card for investment purposes, it’s also one of the best-looking basketball cards on the planet with a classic Jordan dunk and an iconic border design.

Prices for the Jordan Fleer RC have exploded, but we’d still advise to buy in if you’re aiming for a solid ROI year in year out.

2020 LaMelo Ball Panini Prizm RC #278

best sports cards to invest in 2021

LaMelo Ball’s rookie season reminded us of Luka Doncic until he got injured. He hasn’t been the same since but is still putting up insane numbers for a player of his age.

We feel the 2020 Prizm LaMelo Ball rookie card is a no-brainer investment for a rookie who will soon be a triple-double threat nightly.

It’s just a shame that he missed 21 games with a fractured right wrist.

1996 Kobe Bryant Topps Chrome Rookie Card #138

best basketball cards to buy

The 1996 Topps Chrome Kobe Bryant rookie card was always going to make the list.

Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous card, but it should also be an ROI beast over the next few years.

The potential value is also influenced by his untimely death in January 2020.

Consider if a Kobe documentary similar to the Michael Jordan doc is released, the value of this card is likely to skyrocket.

2009 Kobe Bryant Lebron James Topps Chrome Refractor #24

Best Looking Basketball Cards

Although not officially a LeBron James card, the 2009 Kobe/LeBron Topps Chrome Refractor has broken out from a cult following to reach mass-market appeal.

We named this card one of the best-looking cards of all time. The 2009 Kobe/LeBron Topps Chrome Orange Refractor may go down in history as one of the most iconic cards in the hobby.

The card obviously looks amazing but it also seems to hold a hidden, deeper message in the image.

Two of the best of all time, one on his way up, one on his way out, and the passing of the old guard to the new guard with the ball being the key.

We would love to have this card as we feel it is one of the more undervalued cards in the hobby.

2013 Giannis Antetokounmpo Panini Prizm Rookie Card #290

Top Sportscards To Invest In

The Giannis Antetokounmpo Prizm RC is one to hold onto for the next decade.

We like the love the Orange version but it is hard to find, not to mention it will set you back by a significant amount!

We would not be surprised to see three or four more MVPs from Antetokounmpo, although Luka Doncic may have something to say about that in the future.

2003 LeBron James Topps Chrome Refractors RC #111

best sports cards to invest in 2021

Every serious collector in the hobby should have a copy of this card in their investment portfolio.

The 2003 Lebron James Topps Chrome RC is on fire and the ROI in the last few years is insane.

It is still not too late to buy this card as, like fine wine, the price will only go up if current trends continue.

Best Hockey Cards to Invest In

1990 Jaromir Jagr Upper Deck RC #356

best hockey cards to invest in

Jaromir Jagr is one of the most underrated players/rookie cards in the hobby.

The 1990 Upper Deck Jagr rookie card is an icon in our eyes as many of us on staff can relate to tearing open more than a few packs of 1990 UD in search of this bad boy.

Trending: Best Upper Deck Young Gun Cards of All Time

We consider it to be a great-looking card that is somewhat undervalued based on where it will be 10 years from now compared to other HOF-type players who dominated their sport similar to the way Jagr did.

2005 SP Authentic Alexander Ovechkin RC #190

SP Authentic Alexander Ovechkin card

For a time, this was the only hockey card on this list and should be seen as a must-have for long-term investors.

In our opinion, Ovie is already the best player to ever lace up the skates and is a scoring machine even in the “dead puck era” (imagine what he would have done in the ’80s and ’90s).

The 2005 SP Authentic Alexander Ovechkin RC will cost more than $2,000 but is worth the price long-term as this card will only go up over the years.

The card is numbered #190 and the back reads “The top overall pick in 2004, Ovechkin can play both the physical and the finesse games, blending blazing speed with a 212-pound frame”.

The 1990 UD Pavel Bure rookie card ranks right up there with the 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. UD RC as an iconic card for kids who came of age during the ‘junk wax era’.

Numbered #526, the Bure Upper Deck Young Guns RC is a thing of beauty and should have a tremendous potential ROI moving forward.

For whatever reason, it seems hockey cards were more popular than any other sports card for a brief period of time during the early 1990s.

1990 Eric Lindros Score Canadian Future Superstar RC #440

best sports cards investments

Like the Pavel Bure RC mentioned above, the 1990 Score Eric Lindros Future Superstar RC was what dreams were made of for many kids in the early 90’s.

Look out for the Canadian version in particular as it’s much rarer.

Numbered #440, the card shows Lindros cruising up the rink looking to make a pass or shot towards the net.

Hockey was king in the early ’90s among sports cards, although you will have to contend with the massive print runs seen at the time.

2005 Sidney Crosby SP Authentic Future Watch RC #181

best hockey cards to invest in 2021

The 2005 Sidney Crosby SP Authentic RC is not only one of our top hockey cards to make the list; it’s also one of our favorite sports cards ever.

Decades from now this RC is going to be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars if not more.

A true masterpiece from one of the best hockey players of all time.

1990 Martin Brodeur Score Canadian RC #439

best sports cards to invest in reddit

Martin Brodeur is the best goalie to ever stack the pillows; and by a wide margin.

He was a professional in every way and has the championships to prove it.

The 1990 Score Canadian Hockey set makes another appearance on this list, and for good reason.

Numbered #439, this Brodeur rookie card wasn’t a huge deal at the time when we first pulled it but it has aged exceptionally.

This card should have an excellent ROI moving forward and could get even better as collectors realize just how good Brodeur was (and this was a time of massive goal scoring).

1979 Wayne Gretzky O-Pee-Chee RC #18

best sports cards to buy 2021

The Great One. Enough said.

A note about hockey cards.

Many were predicting NBA cards and the NBA, in general, to take over as the most popular/profitable sport in the US. For the most part that is generally correct as the NFL has faced many issues.
We recently read that ‘Hockey is the new Basketball‘ ten years from now.
In other words, there are predictions that hockey will become the most popular sport in the United States over the next decade.
ESPN did just purchase the NHL viewing contract.
However, they have to increase the scoring, (and excitement) if this is to happen.

Best Soccer (Futbol) Cards To Invest In 2021

2004 Lionel Messi Panini Sports Mega Cracks La Liga RC #71

best futbol cards to invest in 2021

Potentially the top soccer RC in the hobby, it’s no surprise as the 2004 Panini Sports Mega Cracks contains an image of Lionel Messi in his trademark Barcelona kit.

The only drawback is it will cost you the price of a brand new Range Rover at higher grades and is only going up as he edges closer to retirement.

1993 Zinedine Zidane Panini Soccer RC #261

top soccer cards to invest in now

A much more affordable soccer card to invest in for the average collector also happens to feature one of the greatest midfielders of all time.

To be honest, we have always loved Zinedine Zidane since the ‘headbutt heard around the world’, which was a shocking end to a World Cup final, as well as the player’s career.

Zidane went on to manage Real Madrid, leading the team to an unprecedented three Champions League wins in a row.

Best Golf Cards To Invest In 2021

2001 Tiger Woods Upper Deck Golf RC #1

best golf cards to buy now 2021

It may not be the most expensive Tiger Woods rookie card, but the Upper Deck Golf RC is a solid pick nonetheless.

Numbered #1, it’s a great-looking card that should have nothing less than a great ROI moving forward.

Maybe not as great as the ‘2001 SP Authentic Auto Gold #45 /100 RC, but that card simply isn’t obtainable for the average investor.

1965 Arnold Palmer Bancroft Tiddlers Giants Of Sport RC #26

Best Boxing Cards To Invest In 2021

1987 Mike Tyson Panini Supersport Italian #160

best boxing cards to invest in

There are a number of Mike Tyson boxing cards that are worth checking out, but the 1987 Panini Supersport Italian is the one that stole our hearts.

Numbered #160, the card features a jacked Tyson ready to demolish a poor, helpless soul. A patriot crowd-pleasing picture of old glory in the top right-hand corner finishes this masterpiece of a boxing card.

We purchased this card a year ago and couldn’t be happier with it.

1979 Muhammad Ali Venorlandus Our Heroes World Of Sport Boxing #3

best boxing card to buy
One of the MOST UNDERRATED cards in the hobby. 20 years from now I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of the most expensive cards of all time.

When picking the Ali card it was a close race between the ‘1979 Venorlandus Our Heroes World Of Sport Boxing Muhammad Ali #3’ and the ‘1960 Hemmets Journal Cassius Clay Muhammad Ali RC #23’.

Ultimately, we went with the Venorlandus card as there is something about the uniqueness of the design that you rarely see.

This is another boxing card on this list that we have purchased in the past year.

Where Not and Where To Buy Sports Cards

We have been buying thousands and thousands of cards over the last few years so we have a good grasp on the best places to buy sports cards and places you want to avoid.

Where to Buy Sports Cards

In our experience, the best place to buy sports cards is by far eBay. Not only do they have the widest selection of cards but they also have reasonable buyers/sellers fees.

Although eBay is number one the most recent sports card craze has brought some new players with some new ideas into the card arena (i.e. www.withotis.com and collectable.com).

Pro-Tip: We purchase 80% of our cards at eBay but have also used Heritage from time to time. These should be the only two you need when investing.

Where NOT to Buy Sports Cards

By far the largest sports card buying trap is amazon.com. If Amazon wanted to toss some money at developing a sports card auction they could most certainly do so.

But alas it’s not to be as of now they are just running overpriced buy now deals and an auction is unheard of there.

Also, be careful with shady websites and dealers.

Not all websites that look like trash are trash. But would we take a chance of buying a Babe Ruth baseball card at one? Hell NO.

Same with a dealer or shop. If you walk in the shop and it looks like and smells like garbage then it probably is.

Best Please to Sell Sports Cards Online

When it comes time to sell its all about paying as little fees as possible while at the same time reaching a ton of eyeballs. And not just regular eyeballs, buy sports card collectors eyeballs

This is an easy one as the best place to sell your cards online is eBay.

Not only are they the largest online marketplace and arguably the best place to buy and sell cards online, eBay allows users to list up almost anything related to sports cards as well.

Bottom line: eBay provides the most bang for the buck when selling your cards and maxing our ROI.

Check Out My Collectibles (COMC)

Check Out My Collectibles (COMC) is a solid option that allows customers to sell their sports cards.

While they can’t compete with eBay as far as auctions go, COMC has a loyal, solid customer base when it comes to buying and selling cards for a set price (or buyers can negotiate the price).

Bottom Line: You might like COMC if you don’t like waiting on auctions and you like to haggle. The obvious pitfall to this is the price you pay for a card is likely to be greater than the same exact card on eBay auctions.

Best Boxes Of Sports Cards To Buy

Do not buy a hobby box expecting a positive ROI, the majority of the time the value of the cards you receive will not equal the amount you spend on the hobby box.

However, there are few boxes that do offer a decent chance at hitting it big, and over the long haul could potentially result in a positive ROI.

Another reason to buy a hobby box is the sheer joy you got from ripping packs as a kid! It brings us back to a time when life wasn’t so stressful!

Get a group of your friends together and go in on some hobby boxes (the ones listed below would be a good start). Order a pizza, put some beer on ice, and sit around for a couple of hours ripping packs.

Without further ado; here are some boxes of sports cards that are worth a purchase if you want the most bang for your buck!

We have bought this box a number of times and have had some great results.

2018 Panini Prizm key cards to pull:  2018 Luka Doncic Prizm RC #280, 2018 Kobe Byrant Panini Gold Fast Break Prizm #FBKBR,  2018 Trea Young Prizm RC #78, 2018 Deandre Ayton Prizm RC #75

Best Cheap Sports Cards To Invest In

Here are some cheap cards that could turn into expensive cards.

Please note there is a decent amount of risk in these purchases as the players are not exactly proven at this point. In our opinion, they still have the potential for great things.

These are younger players that we see potential in. If they fulfill that potential, expect the price of their cards to skyrocket.

For baseball cards, we like to buy Bowman Chrome when possible as they grade well when sent into PSA and lots as you can get them cheaper vs buying singles.

Here are a couple of options to purchase when it comes to investing in the best cheap sports cards;

  • 2020-21 Tim Stutzle Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns #482
  • 2020-21 Tyrese Maxey Panini Prizm #256
  • 2020-21 Theo Maledon Panini Prizm #289

Card Grading: Before you get a card graded please read PSA Grading vs BGS Grading vs SGC Grading

We will email you back within 24 hours or even call you on the phone if you would like (just leave your phone number and a good time to call).

  • We recommend buying via eBay 7 day auctions as it’s usually a great way to get the card you desire at a reasonable and even sometimes cheaper price.
  • Buy now on eBay should be avoided as in almost every scenario the cards are marked up from the actual value (not every time but 95% would be a reasonable estimate).
  • It’s hardly ever worth it buying non-graded cards. Stick with PSA 10, PSA 9, BGS 10, BGS 9.5, and SGC 10. One side note; modern Bowman Chrome baseball cards are about the only set of cards that holds up well when being submitted to PSA (in our experience). Comment below if you disagree or can name another.
  • When listing your card for sale on eBay check out the listing of top-rated sellers and consider using them as they are experts in getting the card the most views possible via keywords.
  • Avoid buying hobby boxes or packs of cards as your return on ROI will be terrible. Unless you are doing it for entertainment’s sake.
  • 99% of sports cards are not worth your time. Stick with high-grade HOF players with a few stud prospects, rookies, or second-year players mixed in.

Javonte Williams Rookie Cards – Value, Checklist, Top 3 Cards

2022 Javonte Williams National Treasures Rookie Card

Javonte Williams is a running back for the Denver Broncos of the NFL.

He is just 21 years of age and has played only one season in the NFL to this point.

However, he has already established himself as one of the best young players in the game.

Before entering the NFL, Williams spent three years at the University of North Carolina.

There he had a very successful college career, finishing as a second-team All-American in his final college season.

In his final season, Williams was one of the best running backs in the country, and he was often considered a dark horse in the Heisman Trophy conversation.

Related Players RC: Najee Harris Rookie Cards | Elijah Mitchell Rookie Cards

While he did not win the trophy, he did set himself up well for the draft.

Unfortunately, Javonte Williams barely missed out on being a first-round pick. Instead, he was drafted in the second round, 35th overall, by the Denver Broncos.

Following the draft, Williams signed a four-year rookie contract with the Broncos. Entering his first pro season, there was no guarantee Williams would make the team. Williams needed to compete for the backup running back role, and he eventually won it.

In a backup role, Williams appeared in all 17 games, rushing for 903 yards and 4 touchdowns on 203 attempts.

Going into his second season, Williams has a chance to have an even better year.

His performance this year will affect the value of his rookie cards, especially when you consider the increased expectations of the Denver Broncos.

Here we are going to look at three of the best Javonte Williams rookie cards, their designs, and investment value.

Best Javonte Williams Rookie Cards

Javonte Williams was drafted into the NFL a little over a year ago, and as a result, his rookie cards are still very new. So, the prices for each card have not stabilized or established themselves in any meaningful way.

Related Players RC: Tyreek Hill Rookie Cards | Austin Ekeler Rookie Cards

With that in mind, it can be challenging to figure out which ones hold the most value.

Fortunately, we are here to help you by looking at three of the best Javonte Williams rookie cards on the market.

2021 National Treasures Collegiate Javonte Williams Rookie 3 Color RPA 3/25

The first Javonte Williams rookie card that we want to look at today is from National Treasures.

This is a card that is slightly different from other options because it shows Williams in his light blue college uniform.

The card itself has a white border at the top and it reads National Treasures. Below it, you can see the image of Williams with a blue background.

The bottom half of the card features a large autograph from Williams. The autograph is guaranteed by Panini America.

This card is a valuable option because of the autograph and the fact that it features him in his college gear.

Javonte Williams 2021 Panini Donruss Rookie Card #275

This card from Donruss comes from the Donruss The Rookies collection.

It features Javonte Williams in his white Broncos uniform as he rushes up with the ball towards the left side of the card. The border of the card is white with some grey and blue stripes.

There are logos or writing on two of the corners of the card including the Donruss logo and Rated Rookie logo.

Although it is not autographed, this is still a solid option that can be purchased for a reasonable price.

2021 Mosaic Football Javonte Williams Silver Prizm Rookie Card #315

2022 Javonte Williams Mosaic Rookie Card

The final card we want to look at today is from Mosaic. This Javonte Williams rookie card has a unique design that features a fluorescent rainbow background.

It has a silver Prizm border, and it displays Williams in his orange Broncos jersey and white pants. In the chosen image, Williams is carrying the ball toward the right side of the card.

The card shows the RC logo, Mosaic logo, Williams’ name, and the Broncos logo in the card’s four corners.

The back of the card provides a short blurb about how his college quarterback got to see Williams go to work every play.

Additionally, it shows Williams’ college stats from his last season and his totals across three seasons.

This is another budget option that can be had for a reasonable price. It is not autographed, and as a result, it is a good option to invest in if you want to buy in bulk.

Javonte Williams Rookie Cards Value

The most valuable Javonte Williams rookie card is the first one we looked at today because it has his autograph.

If you have a Javonte Williams rookie card that has not been graded, we can give you its estimated value.

Leave a comment below or send us an email, and include two photos. Do this and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Investment Outlook

Javonte Williams looks ready to have a great career in the NFL. He had a great first season, and as a result, it is reasonable to expect him to improve in the coming years. If he continues to improve, his cards will rise in value.

Another thing that drives up value is winning, and that is something we can expect from Denver in the immediate future.

The Broncos recently traded for Russell Wilson, and in doing so, added themselves to the championship conversation. If the Broncos can win a Super Bowl, Williams’ cards will be even more valuable.

  • Investment Rating: Good Boy (4.0 out of 5)
  • Risk / Return Analysis: Low Risk / Moderate to High Return
  • Ownership Disclosure: None

How Much Is a Javonte Williams Rookie Card Worth?

Most Javonte Williams rookie cards are relatively cheap and can be purchased for double digit prices, and sometimes under a dollar. However, the cards in pristine condition are sometimes listed for over $100 in 2022.

Which Javonte Williams Rookie Card Has the Most Value?

Since he is such a young player, there is a chance this will change over time. However, in 2022, the National Treasures card is currently the best investment option.

When Was Javonte Williams a Rookie?

Javonte Williams was a rookie in 2021, and he played for the Denver Broncos, appearing in all 17 games.
