2019 Nico Hoerner Bowman Sterling Auto RC #NH
We have a love/hate relationship with the 2019 Bowman Sterling Cards.
We purchased a half dozen Wander Franco rookie cards Bowman Sterling redemptions (not graded… raw card). We got the cards from Topps in a month and sent them to PSA to be graded… Only one came back with a PSA 10 rating… all the others were not graded due to us requesting non-grades if not a PSA 9 or higher. We were very disappointed to say the lease.
The Bowman Sterling Auto cards also seem to get less value compared to Bowman Autos.
If you want a Nico Hoerner auto card pick a Bowman or Topps. We only recommend this card as a third buying option (don’t buy redemption or raw cards).

Here is an excellent Nico Hoerner rookie card. The card shows Nico running out of the batter’s box after a line drive hit.
Numbered #70 the back of the card reads “Nico was ticketed for the Fall League for the second straight year in 2019 before injuries to the Cubs in middle infield expedited his path to the majors…”
We have no problem picking up a few graded 2020 Topps Nico Hoerner RCs.

Nico Hoerner is one of the more popular rookies this year but is off to a slow start.
Hoerner has learned to adjust quickly and successfully. Manager David Ross has started him at third base twice despite Hoerner’s not playing there before professionally.

He does have some speed and believes he can get even better at the art of base stealing, but he doesn’t want to take the bat out of his teammates’ hands.
Kipnis has outperformed Hoerner so far offensively, and that figures to keep the latter out of the lineup more often than not, at least in the short term but in the long term Hoerner has the potential to be one of the games best players… just give him a few more years.
