Simplistic Investment Method
Now one may assume the best method of investing in Luka Prizm RCs’ would be to buy the rarest you can afford. And we don’t have a problem with that line of thought! If you subscribe to this method, search eBay auctions until you find the desired card that fits your price range.
However, we have a more fun suggestion for those willing to try.
Advanced Investment Method
In this method, we will use numbers and the card’s aesthetics. This can be tricky because, as they say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”!
As we explained to Zach in our email, the Luka Doncic Prizm card that slipped through our fingers last summer was the White Sparkle. We were ready to buy it on an eBay auction but passed because we felt the price ran too high. Now that card sells for 5 times what we would have paid back then… Bummer!
2018 Luka Doncic Panini Prizm White Sparkle RC
The Luka Doncic White Sparkle Prizm rookie card is by far our favorite looking, and we feel this card’s ROI should increase more than his other Prizm cards. Here are a few other Luka Prizm RCs’ we like under this “advanced method” (i.e., eye method).
2018 Luka Doncic Panini Blue Prizm RC
The blue border with the blue jersey makes this Luka Prizm card blend seamlessly, and it is a must-have for Luka Prizm collectors. The card’s aesthetics are incredible, and we own a couple.

The 2018 Panini Prizm Luka Doncic Orange Prizm is another one that passes the eye test in a BIG way. We have always loved any Orange variation on a sports card, and this Luka Prizm is no exception.
2018 Luka Doncic Blue Ice Prizm RC
This Luka Prizm combines the cracked ice style with excellent blue color. And the result… BOOM goes the dynamite! Another beautiful Prizm card (no wonder these lead the hobby in sales).
The 2018 Luka Doncic Prizm Blue Ice Rookie Card is extremely rare, and you will be lucky to see it up for auctions a few times per year.
2018 Luka Doncic Prizm Pink Ice RC
Join us in 2020 – pink isn’t color just for girls anymore. This Luka Prizm card is gorgeous and evocative of Easter/Spring – one of our favorite times of the year!
The best thing about the Luka Doncic Pink Prizm card is that you can still get it at a decent price compared to some of his other Prizm rookie cards.
2018 Luka Doncic Choice Prizm Nebula
This one is listed more for fun than anything, as the odds of getting your hands on this bad boy are, well, you might as well buy a Powerball ticket instead.
The Luka Prizm Nebula is a thing of beauty, however, and we would trade just about any card in our collection for it (*almost any card*).
