The Joe Burrow Base Prizm RC #307 (SHOP ON EBAY) would be our pick for the top investment in all the trading cards for the next ten years and maybe the best investment period (including stocks, real estate, and bitcoin).
After leading the LSU Tigers to a National Title Championship, the Bengals drafted Joe Burrow (12/10/1996) with the 1st Overall Pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. After a hot start in which he was the leader in Vegas in terms of ROY odds, Joe went down with a season-ending injury.
Although his rookie season ended prematurely due to a severe knee injury, the numbers he put up in ten games conveyed that he is on the path to joining the most elusive company that resides in the pantheon of National Football League QBs.
He proved he belongs in the league as Burrow nearly won the Superbowl in his second year in the league. Let’s check out the best Joe Burrow rookie cards for investment purposes. Remember that Joe Burrow’s rookie cards fall into moderate/high risk/high to very high returns.
#1. 2020 Joe Burrow Panini Prizm RC #307 (TOP PICK)
The classy look of the card’s front face is deservedly coveted by collectors, which is dominated by the reflective silver border that creates a futuristic-looking ‘display’ through which one can behold a running Joe.
The top side has the “Panini Prizm” emblem. At the bottom, Joe’s name is printed in white font on a red background; below it is the team’s name, ‘Cincinnati Bengals’. In a vibrant jersey, Joe is seen holding the football in his stout hands, all poised to pass it to a fellow teammate.
The reverse face of the card is divided into two halves. The upper half has Joe’s upper body’s image taken from the front face of the card, and the lower half has team info and stats.
#1A. 2020 Joe Burrow Immaculate RPA RC #ISP1
A special thank you to Michael V. from FB, for the reminder on the 2020 Joe Burrow Immaculate RPA RC. A stunning specimen of a card.
#2. 2020 Joe Burrow Panini Donruss Optic Downtown #DT40
With a background of vibrant colors, this card displays three tigers, one of which is our legendary quarterback Burrow, all poised to deliver a pass, looking crisp in the Bengals’ gear. The bluish-dark tinge reflects the mystery & depthless potential of our signal-caller.
The top left corner has an optic emblem ‘O’, and the Rookie Card’ logo is diagonally opposite to it at the right bottom corner. Central to the card is Joe and a snarling tiger, an image of sporty aggression integral to the game. Wise, alert, ready for aggression, invaluable – the theme reflected by this card to be treasured.
#3. 2020 Joe Burrow Panini Contenders Rookie Ticket RC #101
The signature feature of this sturdy card is the rectangular faux ticket occupying 80% of the left-hand side of the card’s front face, in the Bengals colors.
To the right of the faux ticket is a full-length image of the quarterback himself, arms flexing in a stance for passing the football. Joe’s jersey number “9” is printed against the “Row” field on the faux ticket.
Panini Contenders banner, Bengals’ logo, and Panini “RC” emblem are present in that faux ticket area. Burrow’s signature fits snugly near the bottom edge of the card. An excellent, thin & top-down silver line on the right reads Cincinnati Bengals in a repeated pattern.
The reverse face of the card has Burrow in the left half against a striped-orange color backdrop, poised for delivering a pass. The lower part of that card face has football stats of Joe. The extreme bottom has logos of NFL, Panini Contenders, and NFLPA.
#4. 2020 Joe Burrow Absolute Kaboom RC #31
Joe Burrow against a quirky ‘KABOOM!’ backdrop with refractive, explosive graphics is enough to beckon anyone. The ‘KABOOM!’ icon has a sidekick icon, “RC,” though the former is designed in a font style similar to that of ‘Dragon Ball Z’.
Joe Burrow is displayed in a cartoon-themed image wherein the ball leaves his hand while looking crisp in his Bengals jersey. The bottom left-hand side of the card proclaims ‘BURROW’, the legend.
#5. 2020 Joe Burrow Donruss Auto Canvas RC #301
The front face of this prized RC #301 card features Joe in a ball-passing stance in the card’s center, looking impressive in the Bengals’ gear from head to toe. This card face has an orange border with a dash of silver at the top and a “Rated Rookie” printed in both colors.
Both the left and right-hand side borders have fancy patterns. The bottom of the card face has the names of the quarterback and his team.
The reverse face of the card seems to exclaim “blue”, and is divided into two rectangular boxes. The upper box displays the Bengals’ logo at the top, “Joe Burrow” beneath it, and this, in turn, is underscored by a short, exciting description about Joe.
The lower, smaller box shows details about Joe. The lowest part of the card’s face contains logos of NFL, Panini Donruss Football, and NFLPA.
#6. 2020 Joe Burrow Panini Mosaic RC #201
In this card, one face displays Joe Burrow in a ball passing stance in a holographic-effect backdrop. The top right corner has a Mosaic emblem, whereas the name Joe Burrow is diagonally opposite it at the bottom right side. The card face has the color theme of the Bengals in the center.
The other card face has a palette of icons in Bengals’ colors with a honeycomb design. One icon has Burrow standing in it ready to deliver a pass; another icon displays “No. 201 PRIZM“ at the top right.
Indented towards the right border is the Bengals’ logo underscored by the quarterback’s name & a description of his feats. The logos of NFL and NFLPA superimposing on a honeycomb pattern at the bottom gives a finishing touch to this unique card.
#7. 2020 Joe Burrow Select Silver Club Level RC #246
This card depicts the quarterback standing in a three-point stance, looking at ease & ready to pounce. With Burrow at the center, the card looks impressive with its “RC” logo and an overall Bengals color theme.
The neat “Select 2020” at the top and “JOE BURROW” at the bottom of the card are nicely complemented by the surrounding design theme.
On the reverse side, the top of the face displays “No. 246 CLUB LEVEL” with the Bengals’ logo and a description of Joe’s feats in white design, with ‘Joe Burrow’ running on a black strip in the middle. The red-patterned outer edges have logos of NFL and NFLPA displayed on both the left and right bottom, respectively. An easily accessible card to budget-conscious investors.
#8. 2020 National Treasures Joe Burrow Justin Herbert RC #BH
Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow – the two quarterbacks who rose to prominence like meteors – are captured in this card’s front face. The upper half of the card displays Joe Burrow indented towards the right side border, with arms flexing to throw the ball. This half is in the Bengals’ red theme.
The lower half of the card is dedicated to Herbert and reflects the blue of the Chargers. Herbert, indented towards the left border, looks poised for a ball pass. The reverse face of the card displays the logos of the Bengals and the Chargers in bold themes underneath, which is a bit of factual information on both legendary quarterbacks.
#9. 2020 Joe Burrow National Treasures Patch Auto Red #156
Like in any NT card, the player patch in the Cincinnati Bengals theme dominates the center and right-hand side of the upper half of this classy card, with ‘BENGALS’ running to its right from bottom to top and the ‘Rookie Card’ logo in the top right corner.
A Bengals’ red swatch connects the patch to the card’s upper border, double underscoring the affiliation of mighty Burrow with his team. The left side of the card’s upper half shows Joe Burrow holding the football – an image reflecting the quarterback’s control, skill, and focus.
Burrow’s stylish autograph against a stark white background just above his nameplate occupies the bottom third of the card, along with the NT logo underscoring it.
#10. 2020 Joe Burrow Panini Chronicles Prizm Black #PB1
Resplendent with a holographic theme, this Prizm Black card displays the quarterback in the center wearing the jersey of his team, the Cincinnati Bengals, and standing in a stance of ball passing.
The ‘Panini Prizm Black’ adorns the top of the card, the logo “RC” at the top right, and the names of the quarterback and his team at the bottom. Card’s theme is black.
In that order, the top features “No. PB-1”, “PRIZM,” and the Bengals’ logo are on the reverse face. Underneath it is a picture of Joe in a ball-passing stance during a game. Below his picture is a description of his ball-throwing prowess, followed by his game stats. Logos of NFL and NFLPA adorn the bottom corners.
The Panini Mosaic is always there for tight-budgeted collectors, although investing in the rookie cards is more lucrative.
Whichever card you choose, just ensure that you invest in them at the earliest as Burrow’s card’s value can multiply by leaps and bounds after the closure of an NFL season. May his successes give a boost to your financial one!
