The NFL Playoffs start this weekend, and fans are foaming at the mouth to get things started. We see a Bills/49ers matchup in the Superbowl, but more importantly, here are ten cards that should make for excellent investments over the 2022-23 NFL Playoff season.
Joe Burrow Rookie Cards (Shop eBay): This card could explode in value much like it did last year If the Bengals win the Superbowl, odds are Burrow would be the MVP. If that happens, this card will go to the moon! We like his base Prizm rookie card.
Patrick Mahomes Rookie Card (Shop eBay): This is an easy one, as seeing Mahomes go deep in the playoffs is a given at this point in his career; the only question is how deep. We love the Patrick Mahomes Contenders SP rookie card.
Josh Allen Rookie Cards (Shop eBay): The Buffalo Bills made the Superbowl four times in a row in the early 1990s and lost every single one. OUCH! We feel for Buffalo fans and are personally rooting for them to win, and they might do that as they are +400 to win, which is the second-best odds just behind KC. If they win, the Josh Allen Prizm rookie card will explode in value.
Christian McCaffrey Rookie Cards (Shop eBay): At one point, McCaffrey rookie cards were a must-have in the hobby. They have cooled over the last few years due to injury and playing for a terrible team. This all changed when he was traded to the 49ers, which is IDEAL for McCaffrey. We feel the 49ers are the best team in the NFC, and if they make the big game, Christian McCaffrey should be the odds-on favorite to win the MVP should the 49ers win. We like the 2017 Christian McCaffrey Panini Contenders Playoff Ticket RC.
Justin Herbert Rookie Cards (Shop eBay): This is a long shot but a good bet, like underdogs. The Chargers have a ton of talent; that is not an issue. Staying healthy was. The Chargers were consistently beaten up and injured during the 2022 NFL season. They are as healthy as they have been all season, and Justin Herbert is the most talented QB in the league at this point (in our opinion). If the Chargers can pull off the impossible, Herbert’s rookie cards should have the highest ROI on this list. We like the Justin Herbert Prizm Auto Rookie Cards.
