2020 Anthony Edwards Panini Downtown RC #4
The final card on our list almost didn’t cut because it’s a college card (i.e., Edwards is sporting a Georgia Bulldogs jersey), BUT we love the looks of Downtown basketball cards, so we gave it the final spot.
Numbered #4, the card shows Edwards taking a soft jumper with the Georgia Bulldog mascot and a Georgia Peach in the backdrop. This will be the first card knocked off the list once better cards are released later this year but for now a decent buy for collectors who enjoy college cards.

The most expensive Anthony Edwards rookie card sold to date is the 2020 Panini Flawless Collegiate Basketball RC. However, we do not advise buying these, as they are college cards, and we feel that if you spend thousands of dollars, there are better options ROI-wise.
Most popular Anthony Edwards RC? For now, his NBA Hoops RC is the most seen on eBay auctions but that will most likely change with the release of Panini Prizm Basketball Cards in March of 2021 (view our card release dates).

As a first-overall draft pick, Edwards’ releases were always going to be more popular than the average rookie card. His team might be struggling to find their footing in the league, but that’s not a fair representation of his performances in the NBA.

Edwards ranks in the top 10 for all three major statistical categories amongst rookies, currently second in points per game (14.8), fifth in assists per game (2.5), and ninth in rebounds per game (4.0). Edwards also leads all rookies in minutes (1015), while he ranks second in total points (517), third in total three-pointers made (67), and sixth in total rebounds (139).
However, given the emergence of LaMelo Ball, Edwards is unlikely to win the Rookie of the Year award this season. It has put a slight dampener on prices, especially compared to the likes of Melo’s Flawless RC.
This means that it’s a great time to buy, given the lower values, although there’s always a chance that they could drop further if his team can’t keep up with his talent.
