This years basketball is still no better than when you were not buying this product. Please dont buy into the hype. Most of you will lose money, lots of money on this product . Panini and breakers have ruined the hobby, especially the basketball side and turned it into pointless gambling. Some people have forgot how to collect. Save your money and buy the cards individually or in lots. It will be cheaper to buy the card you want VS buying a box or case of this product. Good Luck
I can understand your perspective, but you are getting emotionally charged over something that is inevitable in the game of supply and demand. Look there are new collectors now and so many new comers in the hobby all with subjective interests.
There is zero chance that all companies involved would not, NOT capitalize on the massive opportunity boom and OVER CHARGE for everything due to VERY high demand.
SADLY at this point it’s understandable that everything has been inflated and nobody knows when it will deflate or if it will keep growing. Sports cards are now it’s own economy and market uncorrelated with any other market.
Last year when covid hit and stocks ranked, cards were untouched in fact prices started increases due to demand.
All in all the hobby isn’t ruined, it’s just evolved, I think it’s really cool that life long collectors are able to cash out on unprecedented card values and live a good life💰💪🏼
